If there is any disadvantage in potential fatigue for Miami by playing yesterday, then it will only be exposed if State moves on defense, applies some form of press and more importantly by utilizing an offensive scheme which requires all five players to constantly move. UVA made 17 of their first 20 shots. They took everyone out of the game. That must be some kind of record? 85% shooting on a minimum of 20 shots. Sure I have seen teams shoot 7/8 or 10/11 and 13/15 but 17 of 20 to start a game. Yes UVA is an excellent defensive team but I thought Syracuse would make a point to shut down TJ but they couldn’t. Here’s to Washington making another significant contribution.

Does Pitt move down with an easy remaining schedule? Pitt has to play FSU, State and Clemson so it should be interesting. With regards to the NIT, many posters have stated that the pack can only beat the crap teams so why is it so important to go play another three or four crap teams. NCAAT or bust. IIRC loss to Maryland in 2000 was start of 7 game losing streak before we won last 2 regular season games. I think Vitale said we were in ncaat during the game while at 17-5. Was it the same year Wells missed 3pt shot to beat Maryland at ACCT? I was there. Maryland fans were complete assholes outside charlotte coliseum. Staff, get these kids ready for Clemson. CBS schedule had Pitt vs UNX preceding this game. As a result, I had given up watching the first half of the State game knowing full well it takes 40-45 extra minutes for UNX to shoot 60 FTA and to review every one of Pitt’s fouls for flagrancy. Thanks for the 7:00pm switch news flash.
