ParticipantNo one else gets FSU and Clemson back to back. However, cuse gets FSU, Wfu (chopped blocked), then Clemson. Have fun Orange. State will see you on the other side! Look at that!!! FSU scores!

ParticipantPP asking fans to enter stadium early for potential commit which is probably old news for most of SFN posters. Fingers crossed for win and multiple commits. Go Pack!!

ParticipantI’m afraid that a beating drum would only embellish the one chant I can’t stand. The noles tomahawk. Rocky Top is a close second. Have we ever tried a unified fan wolf howl?

ParticipantState wins and covers steadily declining spread. State goes on a winning streak and that last game is turned into a home game with a sea of red. I can’t and won’t contemplate any other scenario taking place.

ParticipantSometimes there’s a man, wal, he’s the man for his time n’place, he fits right in there, and that’s the DOG, in the Pick-em Challenge. So please, next year, extend an invitation to the man as my win rate has cratered to < 30%.

ParticipantWalter, The average Dude would kill to have a 60% success ratio. Just saying.

ParticipantComparing past beat downs to determine which was worse makes me twitch and laugh like Inspector Clouseau’s boss.
Nice one, Packer!

ParticipantDid we have any major injuries besides our pride today?

ParticipantThis is the low point for this season so go ahead and vent and get all that bad mojo out of your system. Go Pack!

ParticipantWell, what do you think? “It’s a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.”
They only have one weakness. Shoot them Tigers in the ass, Oddball.

ParticipantI know I go to the Sheridan well often but I always had the feeling that State was well prepared and ready to play from start to finish when he was pacing the sideline. Just as soon as last Saturday’s game was over, I have been wondering how the team responds this week as highlighted by so many other posters. Torry Holt’s Halloween game (4tds) in 1998 is one of my favorites. Give me a late Sade field goal to win!! 52-49 sounds about right.

ParticipantThings you might not see on tv but will live at the game. #11 walked off the field like his nuts were in a vise. If you have to move that slow, you should be carried off. As soon as he got beyond the first row of FSU players, #11 took a hard right and walked the length of the bench at three times the speed. If a real injury, I would have expected him to collapse on the bench ASAP. I have not had a chance to watched the DVR version. I want to see if 11 came back in and I also want to recap holding during the wildcat. I wonder how many times FSU was flagged for holding vs Clemson.
Conspiracy? Swofford will probably do anything for money and to keep the ACC intact.

ParticipantThat gigapixel is wicked sweet. My kids are having fun while I am trying to look away from the only two guys wearing UNX blue. There was a very attractive lady a couple rows back but alas, she is sitting down.

ParticipantYow, start a fund now to keep DD and his hard working staff here for the next 20 years or more. This management team is the real deal. Come on down recruits before there are no more spaces available in 2015.

ParticipantGrey, I honestly need to go back and watch the game and list those plays and the results. In the heat of the second half, it seemed we were playing Canadian ball because we only had two downs to get a first down after they direct snapped the ball to a runner for a yard. What were the results of those plays for the entire game and what is the opportunity cost of those plays. Watching Samuels in person for the first time was awesome because that kid has talent. He makes people miss and then he can drop the hammer on a defender. As stated on the game thread, FSU mauled Samuels on obvious passing plays going his way. Would the outcome of the game been different if Samuels or someone else had a shot in lieu of one yard gains. Who knows? Coaching is a —– of a job. It’s their job to reconcile on field results with the plays called.
It was a great game to watch first hand. My hat is off to #7 Sean Paul. That kid was jumping up and down waving a towel pumping his teammates up the entire afternoon. Fans, players and coaches really showed up.

ParticipantYogi, fat fingers or spellcheck because even I know it’s spelled with an a, for — kicker I presume!! Did FSU recruit Samuels because they mauled him twice when the pass was going to him. Apparently, mauling is ok with the refs. Play that way on offense and improve defense and GoForAngelDust sheds summer coat and grows a much darker winter jacket. Go Pack!!

ParticipantNot interesting in the sense of this year. I have seen Anthony Ratliff Williams play and I readily admit zero knowledge/background with which to evaluate high school football talent but my gut tells me to be wary of this kid. I also recall the observer touting Mark Maye from country day as the qb savior for UNX in the 80’s. I also watched maye play in high school and at the time LMAO. Savior?? Slow clap for 1986 passing efficiency. The hat has many areas to fix.

ParticipantNot trying to be clever or humorous and not noteworthy by any stretch. I dvr’d the ECU game because I simply don’t watch those teams unless State is playing them. I had the sound off and remember seeing a UNX d-bag with a 1789 founded date t-shirt. A few years ago someone posted a comparison of State and UNX qb stats in response to a GoPack.com article on the subject. UNX QB stats were and still are abysmal. The NFL turned their best QB into an average wr. Hard to fathom how a public ivy can’t grasp the importance of a good leader/passer behind center. Anyway, I watched the pirate game twice and both UNX qbs missed wide open receivers repeatedly. It will interesting to see what fedora does at that position.

Participant“ONE in 6 years ain’t very good.”
How about zero since 1789??

ParticipantI think it was a Blue Hose hipster per another game thread. Some of us don’t have “wagerin” money and can’t afford ESPN3-9. Thanks for the blood pressure spike which allowed me to watch the entire FSU game. Silly tigers. It is a beautiful sunday morning 70-41. Let’s hope steeler madness is quelled early tonight.
