Evidently ecu allows pass outs as well.

Ok. We need a stop here. We blew a good shot with our worst possession since our first possession.

Giving the amato teams a run for the money for penalties.

Damn. That was an incredible pass.

    Looked like about 35 yards.

Ok. Finley doesn’t have a great arm, but he is pretty accurate.

JaySam makes that play look so easy.

This has eery resemblance to 2010.

Again, absolutely awful. The d looks horrible.

The let’s kick a high risk long fg was awful. Apparently, Finley can’t throw more than 4 yards.

Let’s see what happens in quarter 2.

Well that’s friggin great. Our first stop and an offsides.

Look for Montgomery to go for it. He’s not as dumb as a box of hammers.

Yea. The ‘ville looked real good last night. Supposedly, they have some studs on D too. I do wonder how their qb would like getting hit. See cam Newton, it takes a toll.

Damn cowdog. That’s good stuff. Thanks for sharing.

I think you have 2 groups of us – those before the goal posts and those after. From this, I would only day – how you handle success says more about you than how you handle failure.

As long as we owned them, the balance was fine – when they beat us it unleashed something different, probably on both sides. But again, that goal post crap is epic. I don’t know if it’s ever happened elsewhere.

    T swear – it’s like I am 7 again.

I got to go to bed before the game is at halftime.

Of course, I don’t to…its my choice, but it ain’t no better.

Hopefully, we will work the pie rats sabado. It will be a solid win. DD is 5-1 ats as a favorite on the road. So, in the immortal words of Carl the greenkeeper (bill Murray) – we got that going for us.

Pack family – that’s kind of the way Amato did things. I think DD’s approach is different. My memory isn’t what it used to be – bit I can’t recall the last back to transfer (due to a lack of playing time) and dominate.

In general, I like ecu fans and respect their program and like that they are totally a “football school”. What I don’t like is that the only time they show up en masse is when they play the larger schools.

Their multiple tearing down of goalposts is unacceptable and let’s be honest, if we ever did that at chapel hill or elsewhere, we would have been kicked out of the conference (and you’d still be hearing about it in the media.)

Another I don’t like is a lot of these folks love their tar heel basketball and the heels in general.

That said, if they don’t fall into the category above, I see the similarities in our values and underdog status even when some of my wolfpack brethren don’t.

Regarding Johnny Frazier – he’s not getting in front of Dayes. I suspect his blocking is behind dakwa and gallaspie. He did look impressive with the ball, but coaches usually have their reasons when they are sitting a talented kid.

ECU game is huge in this regard. Get out of Greenville with a “W” – and it sets up an October that a lot of folks will be watching. Would love to play Notre Dame undefeated.

Wow. That was crazy. Dalvin Cooke drops the ball on the 3. FSU has to settle for a FG.

And I have lost any respect for Jimbo. I think he is in fedora’s league.

’tis cowdog. Unfortunately /fortunately, the boy likes his bike. Which seems innocent on the surface, but although you won’t hear many talking about, ain’t much more dangerous for little boys and middle-aged men than one of those. My boy has the er bill to prove it.

But yea cow, I love the game…but it is absolutely brutal, especially early (when everyone is “fresh” / “springy”.

Plywood – these 2 teams really get after it. Both of them – something about the night time game that kicks it up an extra notch.

Yogi – I was / am happy with the game overall. Look at my post game comments.

I am not as old as you and grey – but my unshaved beard this morning has lots of gray in it. I do see progress, but I am experienced, cynical enough to realize it is one game. Games like this one are almost lose / lose. If you win the game (check) and walk off the field without significant injuries (check) – you move on.

There is definitely talent on this team and it’s good that after a few minutes in the 3rd quarter we removed any doubt. The program appears to be making progress. We will know more next week.

I guess I am worried that some of our posters don’t think we are vastly superior to William and friggin mary…and it’s not a slam, but let’s not act like we beat a decent 1a team, we didn’t.

We beat a good double a team.Chuck Amato’s lousy team totally dominated app state after they had won that championship.

It was a good game. But again, it was one game. It was a game against a team with less talent.

As for me, I have been much more impressed with other games, south Florida, UCF and UNC. It doesn’t mean that i wasn’t happy with the game – it just means that we should have won and we did. On to ecu and hopefully a domination of the pie rats.

Funny, about 7 or 8 years ago, I watched Clemson at Auburn play in auburn…at that moment, I was totally ok with my son not playing football. Watching this game tonight, I feel the same way.

Actually I would tell you that they have a ton of speed at skill positions. They did ok vs. run until Chubb’s last run. Their ol gave trubisky all day to throw.

Put it in perspective, they barely lost to a USC team last year that turned out to be bad. I think uga ends up being good and so does USC.

Wow. Whether it’s USC UNC or anyone else…how often do you see e boneheaded mental error followed by a another huge play.
