Douglas has academic issues and will not be enrolling. The staff is trying to find him prep schools to go to and pull his grades up. He was a huge sleeper in this class and wish he could’ve came here. Depends if he ever comes to State since The 2016 class will be extremely limited. Rush on the other hand will not be coming to State. Grades plus behavioral issues are a key to that from what I’ve heard.
Bsim412ParticipantHe attended the rivals camp in Charlotte and performed very strongly. He has attended three high schools in four years so it’s hard to get a feel for his overall talent. Athletically he has all the skills to be a solid defensive lineman. Always nice to get Charlotte talent up in Raleigh.
Bsim412ParticipantYes, Frasier is the real deal. Coach Doeren and the staff did a great job securing the number 1 running back class in the country.
Bsim412ParticipantSince74, I follow basketball recruiting also but there isn’t much news to report of lately in The 2015 class besides Brandon Ingram. The coaching staff is evaluating guard Traci Carter now as well.
Bsim412ParticipantJohnGalt78, thank you for the compliment, it means a lot! Go Pack!
Bsim412ParticipantPrimewolf, thanks for the kind words. I am majoring in sustainable materials and technology as my dad graduated from state with an engineering degree. I think the staff has the smarts to win 5 ACC games annually but will need wins against Clemson or Florida State each year to do so. The pieces are almost there it’s just how well the coaches plus players execute during games.
Bsim412ParticipantThank you for the nice Wolfantic and mcpack1. I appreciate it!
Bsim412ParticipantThank you!
Bsim412ParticipantThanks for the support Fastback68! I really appreciate it! I try to help give State fans free info so I appreciate any positive feedback.
Bsim412ParticipantGoPack83,
I report what I hear from different sources and all this is true. He is a soft commit to Florida State but will most likely not end up there because it is far away from home. The consensus is that Frasier wants to go to school close to home hence NC State and Duke. Yes Saban did visit him but Tuscaloosa is far away from Princeton. Alabama speaks for itself don’t get me wrong but like I said the vibe Frasier gives off is that he wants to stay close to home.
Next topic about mechanical engineering. I try to keep all my posts upbeat and positive. Frasier mentioned that he wants to major in mechanical engineering. As a student currently at NC State I know how extremely difficult the college of engineering is. I’m not knocking on the mechanical engineering department at all just stating that Frasier wants to major in it.
Thanks for the kind words.
Bsim412ParticipantA preferred walk-on means that the coaches extend an invitation for you to be on the team but without a scholarship therefore you have to pay like a regular student.
Bsim412ParticipantJohnny Frasier could potentially flip. Alabama visited him today but State and Duke are the schools to watch if he does flip.
Bsim412ParticipantMcKoy is the real deal. State is in a good position with him.
