I’m still upset about he refs, they officiated in the second half differently from the first. inexcusable. They were bad, both ways. It is the state of the current ACC. That said, I am more upset with us losing. Missed FTs, and the last 7.7 seconds letting Paige in for a lay up. We had a time out left. Take it. No fouls, find #5. Find a way to win that game in spite of everything. Just go win it.
blpackParticipantDefensively State is not a better than it was in December. That will lose you some games.
02/16/2014 at 4:56 PM in reply to: Sunday’s salt in the wound – NC State, Phil Ford article in N&O #41316blpackParticipantIf Ford would have gone to State, Dean would have been the one moving on and Sloan would have stayed on and won more games than he did post ’74, imho. As it is, we all know the score on the court and in the classroom. They have won a ton of games. They are all tainted wins since way back when.
blpackParticipantThis could work. There will be a few matchups that don’t go together, but some good games could arise. Land grant schools unite!
blpackParticipantGreat stats/info. It’s time to go into the CH and get a win. I think we get them when they come to Raleigh, just like WF will lose to us, but it would be great to sweep U*NC and Miami. Easier said than done. The team has had a good week, let’s hope the mo continues.
blpackParticipantFunny stuff. Now if a certain team in red could win tomorrow and a certain team in orange tomorrow night… then we’d be talking. 🙂
blpackParticipantWe just need to beat GT right now. We can take on all comers as the season progresses. Lots of work to do if we are going to the Dance, but it starts with winning the next game. The graphs are some good stuff. I hope we can all be pleased by some upward trajectory.
blpackParticipantI can see the schedule getting better as we get better. Let’s see how the 9 game ACC slate shakes out and then maybe we can have one gimme game, one good team and one team where we want to recruit, even if it means we go to AL, OH, MI, etc and get beat.
blpackParticipantWelcome!
blpackParticipantWelcome!
blpackParticipantWe can be a heck of a team next year. Need to keep our guys in the fold.
blpackParticipantIt only took the Asheville paper 4 years to see the forest for the trees. I hope UNC-cheat gets what is coming to them. Probation. And yes, there is no boy Roy waiting in the wings.
blpackParticipantWe let this one get away. Looking back we did it to ourselves in large part. We got little from Cat and Tyler, missed too man FTs, failed to get TJ enough touches down the stretch, and forgot how to rebound, just to name a few. Mizzou is a good team and if they are that good, we aren’t too shabby when we put our minds to it.
blpackParticipantI guess dismissed isn’t really dismissed. I don’t know if I have disliked them more.
blpackParticipantThat was one awesome game. Rivers running the Pack all over them. The sun peaking through the clouds and shining off their gold helmets. Ringing in the new year. third string DBs getting to play near the end of the game. Glorious FL afternoon.
blpackParticipantSo nice to get a road win vs. a BCS conference team. Let’s see how the Pack focuses on Saturday. Roll Pack!
12/14/2013 at 1:50 PM in reply to: Mark Gottfried Would Like To Play a Conference Game in Reynolds Coliseum #34663blpackParticipantWe are already doing about all we can do in the Reynolds of 2013ish. I did like opening up the conversation about thinking of the future and where we want NCSU basketball to play. On campus, around 15k, and having the best of Reynolds and the PNC would be epic. Nice present to ‘older’ alumni like myself in 15-20 years.
blpackParticipantGood to have AMA on our side. Huge pick up. Now we can focus even more on ’15 and ’16.
02/08/2009 at 7:22 PM in reply to: ACC officials embarrass league, spark (Jamie) ‘Luckie’ comeback #35295blpackParticipantWe lost the game. We had it and let it get away. That said, the officials were awful. No excuse for their incompetence. We will have to learn to win 8 on 5 like the 80s. We got pretty good at that, but that was a different time.
