Good pickup. I think he can learn the correct way to say NCSU in due time. Hope he has a great career at State.
Big game tomorrow. Time to break the ice and win the league in one of the big 4 sports most people pay attention to at NCSU. This team has come a long way in the last month. That play by Preston is one they’ll talk about for a long time.

Good points listed above. Obviously we didn’t have a ton of talent in ’13 & ’14. That is changing with this incoming class and some of previous class. Coach D know he needs better players and more of them to compete with the FSUs of the world. As he said Friday night, he didn’t come here to win 8 games, he came here to win them all. Let us remember the high water marks of the previous staff and move forward with this staff as they take on new challenges. It should be a fun ride.
I saw an interview yesterday on the news and Kirk was very polite and seems like a good kid. Glad he loves to play hard; we like to win and playing hard is not negotiable. Our teams generally don’t get out worked. He will be a great addition to the Pack.
I remember RW splitting time with spring practice and baseball while at State, one year leaving early from the Spring game. That wasn’t the case in 2011. That said, I think things worked out well for him and he knows it. He still has a sore spot for TOB however and that is understandable.
Tenn may have shown to be not as good as Gott thought heading into the season, but Cinci, Purdue and WV provided some big names along with the Boise’s of the world. Good mix of teams and like stated above, teams that competed well in their conferences despite not being a brand name.
Never heard of this guy, but he is spot on hitting U*NC. I just had to laugh. U*NC is a joke and a diploma mill. Bring on the sanctions.
I expect the close games to continue. Really only two elite teams in the league, one starts 3 freshmen and the other has its best player out. It is wide open for the team that gets hot. Might as well be State. Beat Pitt!
I hope he will start. It would get the crowd even more hyper and it would be something he would remember the rest of his life. The Oregon State University started 5 walk-ons in their last home game.

I really like that interview. DD has things going in the right direction and realizes he has to keep it going and moving forward. 8 wins does not a championship make. It is a process and State is going forward. Next fall should be a lot fun.
Beat the Cheats coming up soon, win the games we are supposed to and we’ll have good record and RPI. We can do this.

Thanks for the info. It is good stuff. I think State will get in again come March, but there is a lot of work to do.
