3. on the fast break…Mr. Cat goes ONE ON THREE to the basket…. hits the rim
and VANDWAGON gets the long rebound for the VANDERDUNK….anybody else see a pattern here…

Either we have been “channel-ing” the inner Coach Gott or Coach is reading our bball commentary about the half court offense.And Tonight is the perfect night (against ND — playing a lot of zone ) to work out some of the kinks in our half court offense….
1. We outrebounding the Irish 23-13… cause our BIGS are moving and ready to shoot and rebound…
2. Tyler absolutely ran the better sets…
3. Perimeter shooting (ignoring the last shoot ) is opening up some…
4. Fast break baskets not going to get us the win tonight.In the locker room at the half …
I’m sure one Coach said “Men… let’s just keep doing what we’re doing…. don’t look at the scoreboard.”

Guess we’ll all tune in around nine pm and find out who wants to play tonight and who doesn’t; who wants to coach tonight and who doesn’t.
X&Os don’t matter much, neither does officiating unless they revert to their November form and blow 50 plus whistles.
Otherwise, SOS as the last two weeks.

Winston did not put the Noles in that 21-3 hole.The REAL story last night was….
1. The battle in the trenches… which was for all practical purposes … a draw…
2. FSU’s secondary which did play as well as seen in other big games this season or as expected for this game…. those key fourth quarter turnovers notwithstanding.
3. Jimbo “going all in” in the first half with fake punt. People will hesitate to question Jimbo’s coaching abilities from now on.
4. Auburn’s offensive game plan and sets and the confusion they created at the snap. People will also hesitate to question Gus’s coaching abilities from now on.Not necessarily in that order.
