Watching various games on TV. Including the Delaware – UNCheats game (see Alpha’s photo above). UNC announced attendance – 63,455,300.
Very good TV quality. Announcers are decent. Looks like the artificial turf could use some watering to green it up. State is marching down the field. Dayes made a great long yardage first down. Looking to score. So far, so good.
Soon to head out to C-F. Gotta stop by WallyWorld to pick up some 99cent use once and throw away ponchos. The radar is looking most unfriendly.
I think EKU will be the ‘best’ of the warm up teams we play. They have some FBS transfers and championship FCS talent. We cannot take them lightly.
Hope to see the defense not give up the big play(s) this game.
Watching the Houston at Louisville game. End of the 3rd and I’m not sure what to make of the Red Birds.
I’ve been thinking the exact same thing as bjd.
Ranking from 15 to 20 due to ‘do it first, talk later / actions speak louder than words” factor. But that we’d really be a 10 to 15 team.
If things ‘click’ on a consistant basis – hanging around the 10 spot would be just about right.
I’m already ramped up!
I knew 28 years of Wolfpack Club dues would finally start to pay off!!

What a fun year.
I am so looking forward to doing it all again next season.

NC State basketball this year has been the most fun since the 1980’s.
I am already excited about next season.
And I think we’re gonna have some good football time come this fall.
I’m gonna go over to that corner – right over there, curl up in a little ball, and rock myself to sleep.

Congrats to Andre Ware and Ryan Harrow (hamstring injury – hope he gets to play next game).
I’ll be pulling for Georgia Southern to beat UCLA and make it to the Sweet 16.
Their head coach is one happy camper – I’d like to see more of them.
As for tonight – I’d like to see both State and LSU bring their “A” games. It would make for one heck of a game. With a State win by 5 or so.
On the other hand – I’d be pretty darn happy if we just blow LSU out early – easier on me, the dog, the TV, the furniture . . .
A 10 seed with a second game date with Gonzaga would be optimum.
But – if an 8 or 9 seed with Kentucky looming – well, just go ahead and put a quarter in the juke box – let’s dance.
Interesting observations from the ACCT. Coach K was rather stoic and emotionaless. OK….he was still breathing….saw one of the assistants put a mirror under his nose.
LOL – that’s pretty funny. Have a good time at the game today, roo.
Would rather not get UK the second game. A 10 seed would be fine with me. Under seeded but rather than being insulted – winning 2 games with a week to rest, practice and game plan – yep – we could make some noise in weekend two.
I hope KW and all the guys stay. That’s been the best part of watching this team. It’s a team. Not a one-and-done with supporting cast. It’s been fun, and sometimes exasperating, to watch them grow and learn and improve.
This has been the most fun watching NC State basketball since the ’80s.
Let’s hope we get a good bracket on Sunday.
