I think theres a switch like in the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial where the guy pushed it to let someone know need to chance the game….only this time its Swoff and the button signals the refs to start calling more fouls.
Any chance they could do like the snowy UNC/Duke game and cancel tonites game? Roads are pretty bad here south of Raleigh.
I’ve watched some of Snoop and Son. Not a bad show. Snoop is hard on his son at times and sets the family life you would not expect from a gansta pot head rapper persona father. Snoop Dog son verbally committed to Duke before signing with UCLA. Kid Dog was a top WR at a high dollar Catholic prep school in Vegas. That school looks more like a DII school than high school. Their staduim is bigger than App St and maybe even Duke.
Louisville is playing as bad as they look. Those uni’s make them look like a girls swim team in the 1920’s. Not sure what to expect from Pack tomorrow nite at the Hill. Its a must win as they come to have a shot at NCAA. Lose to Cheats and even go 3-1 finish, then one early in Acc, NIT here we come. I don’t see us going with 19-13 unless we win the ACC Tournament. I’m already tired of the DES legacy crap. Yes, he did great things specially with race in college basketball but he did things that put athletics ahead of academics which changed the playing field over at the Hill. I hope we destroy them in the Dean Dome. Probably won’t but heres to hope.
Say good bye to Dish perhaps more. As long as TWC has internet, they will always be a player. I just got back from Wally World were there was an agressive Directv promo/sign up going on in store. They were highlighting the ESPN streaming package along with NFL football.
Man, we are the lunatic fringe sometimes. After the loss to UVA, we (including me) all were into WTNY mode and at our wits end with this team/coach in general. Now after a win we are all thinking all is well and NCAA again. Its a win after going 2-6 in last 8 games. Don’t get me wrong, I’m as excited as most over yesterdays performance and road win. But still…I’m cautiously optimistic as its only one game and alot of work left to do to even reach bubble statis. I am full of “what if’s” with this team. What if yesterdays team showed up Jan 1. What if Cat had found his confidence sooner. What if we can go 4-1 to close our regular season. And what if we pull another Clemsonist showing with follow up. And “What is” the life of a State Fan.

I too love Coach Cut….he don’t mince words or his actions. Which the Dickheads over at the Hill don’t get…obviously Cut don’t like Fedora or his classes program and had no obligation to return his call.
The other day after Coach Fedora was whining on the Buzz how everyone was picking on him with negative recruiting tactics about him and Carolina, Coach Cut was also participating with a call in segment. The host ask Coach Cut what he thought about other coaches using negative comments about programs like Carolinas to influence kids to play for them. Coach Cuts response was dead on….”Its not negative if its the truth.”^Having said that (perhaps limiting Corona intake) 247sports also ranks NC State as the #1 in game changing recruiting class of 2015 for power conferences.

(Why’s everybody always pickin’ on me)Chop, I honestly believe we wouldn’t be 14-11 either with Bennett. And I don’t think Gott is a worse coach than of the three mentioned. But if you wanna compare Tech, BC and Wake (which in yr 4 bet Manning has Wake more consistent than Gott) then lets compare the talent. Gott has talent, has had talent, more than most of some of the teams ahead of us. But he just don’t seem to know how to coach those players in a way that highlights that talent. Bennett seems to get that. We all know what gonna happen in late game situation, specially coming out of a time out, gonna run a screen for a baseline 3, usually with Turner. Bennett can draw up a play like he did with a screen on Anya for a dunk late. Gott has shown a tendency to be one dimensional with offense with it being mostly fire away boys. If you look back at every game we have lost late its because we settled for the 3. Only game that we went inside and stayed inside was against Duke. And we know how that turned out. So yes I blame Gott, know when its working and when its not. Know when a screen for a three by us is obvious coming by the opposing team. I’m not on the fire Gott band wagon yet but he needs to learn from his mistakes and in year four, I don’t see that happening. Just tired of this same ole Rut-Ball style of play from Gott. Sit Turner when he needs sitting. Sit Lacey when he needs sitting. But realize when its not working…Gott it?
Agreed Wuf, the call did not help but it was not huge. Maybe BS but it was just one factor in a game of in the words of Bonner…too many lost opportunities. I blame Gott on this one….again. Live by the 3, die by the 3. Just seems to me if the 3 ball ain’t falling, and it wasn’t for our three biggest 3 pt shooters, then time to call another play. State was 3-17 (18%) from the three pt line…pathetic. When it ain’t working, Gott ain’t Gott a clue.
