Roo, I get what you are saying. Honestly, I don’t have an answer. Just seems every solution boils down to the fanbase having to pay more. All I know that frustration has set in and my pocketbook is empty. I paid off my LTR this year, seen little success other than a win or two against Carolina or FSU along the way. No championships, no big upsets and no progress in the program. I’ve paid my WPC dues along the way, showed up every game even as ticket prices rise, even donated to the pledges. To be ask if would give more just for lack of better example, makes me like Trump, saying what most fans are thinking, just maybe not saying it PC…..”30 years of the same and you want more”?

Along the way, we have seen huge buy outs, contract extensions and salary increases for coaches. US? Just another WTNY. Asking us to pay more to help solve a hiring mistake makes me even more frustrated. Yes, I want championships and I want good coaches, but I be damned if will help pay off a supplement pay to a coach who is fired for not doing his job again. Theres more revenue for these programs and salaries than just from the fan base. As mentioned, tv rights, LTR, WPC dues, and suite rental. There is also stadium ads, concessions, name rights, etc. Time to use it, stop digging in my back pocket for admin mistakes. Even pisses me off more to see a coach fired and ride off into the sunset with million $$$ supplements.

You bring up a good point and makes me ask….”where does all the money we pay for tickets, LTR, dues go?” It can’t all be spent on facilities. Maybe it should be looked into as a way to pay the coaches like UNC. Just don’t like reading about more money. I’m sure there will be increases in another form. I paid my last LTR installment this year, almost feel assured there will be some new fine writing to come about paying more even though my contract is paid in full.

“OK, Would YOU, as a State Fan, be willing to pay $3 per ticket for the next 3 years to buy out Coach Doeren, pay an ADDITIONAL $4 per ticket to provide a 50% INCREASE in the total Head Coach’s package. I think I would”

Frankly, HELL NO !! The Administration got us in this mess, they need find a way without putting the burden on us the customer. I mean, we have been ask and ask to ante up to the point I’m done giving. From pledges for new facilities to LTR contracts and yearly commitments to the WPC….time to spend their damn money for THEIR poor decision with hires. The product I paid for and repeatedly willing to increase pay for should not continuously make me and you ante up. It appears they (AD) has failed on their end of the bargain and quite frankly its their turn to make it right without digging into my back pocket again.

Not only one of the lowest moments walking out of the stadium, now it’s turned into an every day embarrassment. I’m ashamed to wear Pack attire now. Might has well just say loser. Embarrassment has turned to anger. I got LTR seating contract. A guaranteed yearly commitment to WPC. And obligation to purchase season tickets. Might has well be investing in Kodak stock. Or better yet in a damn good lawyer to sue NC State WPC and athletic dept for breach of contract. Give me my money back for LTR. I can’t get back the time wasted on gorgeous Saturday afternoons but least give me restitution.

I used have season basketball tickets, gave them up for LTR football seats as couldn’t afford both and quite frankly, the football gameday experience is better than the game night for basketball…IMO. Got more bang for bucks with football unless was content with 300 section seating. I don’t regret giving up basketball seats at all, in fact I enjoy not having the feeling I gotta go to justify the cost. Now I just show up when can, snatch a couple tix outside the arena, usually half the cost and lower level seats.
Hopefully more will show up if the product on the court is as advertised. Have to admit, if take away the tailgating social part of football, probably would have given up my LTR seats in Carter. I’ve paid for them years ago, hopefully one season soon will see them as a good investment. So far, its been a good tailgate with friends mostly.

I wish Bambard the best. But lets face it, he ain’t getting the job done. Fact not low blows. This ain’t charity or moral victories, its big time football game situation. His stats show it, 2-7 in both loses that was less than 10 pts. Perhaps one can blame DD for putting him in that position but heck, he’s the FG kicker, not the TE. Not sure what your point is with comparing a Yorkie to Rottweiler status at birth. Bambard maybe the best we have, it just isn’t good enough. Only sympathy I have for Bam is DD should have ran the ball two more plays with the two TO left instead of letting clock run down. He rolled the dice with a kicker who has proven not good when put in those situations and it cost us a W when the team as a whole played their butts off.

Don’t put it on the kicker ??? NC State has 2 losses this year by a total of 10 points (1 in OT) and is 2-7 on FGs in those games. Misses from 33, 37, 42, 43 & 44. I say a lot as to be put on the kicker. As someone said, this is not an isolated miss by the kicker. He seems to have the mechanics but lacking in the mental toughness of the moment.

Clemson has won 44 straight games over unranked teams. The last team to beat them….???? NC State. It can happen. Like someone said, we will know early. If they come out with that deer in the headlights look, well, mark us as #45. We need to take Dook game plan last nite against Louisville….play ball control if possible. Use up the clock with long drives. Easier said than done but our best defense will be keeping Clemson offense off the field. Go Pack !!

    Hotdogs

ATW === Mustard, Chili, Onions && Slaw (No ketchup !! The chili already is ketchup based)

check: Dog must be well done (black crust from grill)
check: Chili must be Jesse Jones or Pattersons (a local company based in Sanford, NC)
    check: Not too much slaw or chili (slaw has to go on last or you get overcooked or mushy slaw from hot chili}

On my first visit up north, kept seeing signs advertising “Best Michigan in State”. Never heard of a HD called a Michigan hailing from the South. I ordered a couple only to be told only condiments was relish, sourkraut, hot sauce and a runny meat sauce. They looked at me like was crazy when ask for slaw and onions. It was also called a Red Hot which growing up was a link smoke sausage in a bun here, loved them growing up. Not a fan of Nathans, mine has to be full of red dye to be original HD, like Bright Leaf. And not all beef, give me all those pig lips and ears.

Interesting you bring up paper work to drive across the brickyard McCallum. I thought it was just an isolated pain in the butt from an recent experience. As the coach for the Pack Fishing team, we asked for permission to place a bassboat (mine) on the brickyard during Club Sports Day. You would think we had ask to rearrange the bricks after all the paperwork and needed precautions to not damage the bricks. Under a watchful eye, we carefully pulled the boat across the bricks by placing plywood down as we proceeded. After we got set up, here come that dang US Army issue tank of a truck from the Farm House. Without any precautions or wood. It had to weigh 20 times more than my bass boat. Guess its all about who you know at the “institution”.

Biggest night in young Jacoby’s life !!! Hope he does well. Expect da Bill to limit his passes and runs to basic play calling. Of course, Jacoby is known to “extend” the play, lol. Looking forward to watching the Pats play for a change.

I’m sitting on a dock by the lake but will be in Raleigh come game time. Will be interesting to see how the Pack comes out to play. They should have a chip on their shoulder, along with DD, and take it out on the OD.

Looks like DD will have that new house done on Gaston Lake just in time for an extended late fall vacation or spring bass fishing.

A coach with one game under his belt as a head coach makes our coaching staff look like high school material. Anyone wanna buy season tics and parking pass, got 4. Done wasting Saturday’s on Pack football.

The Ville look scary good. Obviously the team to beat in our division. Will b interesting match up for team against FSU. Amazing what some coaches (Petrino) do with a program in 2 yrs opposed to some needing 5 or more.

I use Kodi, love it. I’ve watched almost every game imaginable with it. If you download the watch ESPN app you will get almost all college games. If you like movies, download exodus, every movie ever made is there. No need for Netflix or redbox anymore. Even get local channels so have cut cable cord.

Often ask same questions why requiring a photo id limits the black vote. A photo Id is essential, specially if of voter age in daily life. Just thinking back how often been ask for photo Id makes one question why one would not have one. Can’t help but feel there is more out cry over needing an id because it limits “other things” more than having one to vote. I was ask for id three times last week and I’m white and middle age. I think blacks who don’t have an id have other reasons other than being required to vote. Can anyone explain why one of voter age would not want or need a id in daily life?

Feel like Cat will get an opportunity to play with a team in next round. Interesting that Cat was projected a second round pick while Marcus Paige was projected to not even be drafted and was taken in the first round.

Not sure I get your remark pakfanistan. We don’t tailgate on paved lot and don’t want to thank you. Not about money, its about points and I’ve got enough pts to be almost anywhere around Carter. Paved lot would be last even if I have to wear my Saturday galashes. Sometimes our fanbase rather find something to complain about but tailgating is one of the bright spots of Wolfpack football game day. If not, I’d gave up my LR seats long ago.

I’ve been on the fence bout Avent for many seasons. I think the past week had a humpty dumpty effect. First was the arrogant response when Pack lost in the ACC tournament, “We have a bigger goal, its winning a national Championship”. Winning the ACC tournament is a lofty goal, don’t just write off like we have bigger goals than an ACC trophy. Second was the tirade he went on that got him ejects and suspended for 2 of the most important games in his own words “to the bigger goal of a National Championship”. Its one thing to speak your mind about the ump calling but what he did was almost beyond Bobby Knight antics. Go out there, make you point, go back to the dugout and lead your team. Instead he deserted the team in its biggest moments of the season, a regional at home with chance to move on to a Super and the CWS.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
    Couldn’t put Humpty together again.
