Not sure why SFN posts and message boards need to denigrate players who transfer. Player’s need to do what’s best for them. It’s not like these players who transfer are blasting the program/coach like De Thaey.
Tyler absolutely needs a coach who has more confidence in him.

Whenever Tyler has no one looking over his shoulder (e.g. Xavier), he has played well. So his statements are true, whether we like them or not. And we should also accept the fact, that some players need more control/confidence in their situation than others. Tyler would admit he’s not great at being a sixth man or a starter with a short leash.

At the end of the day Tyler played hard, and helped us get to the tourney this year. If we had two Cat Barber’s on the team this year, we likely wouldn’t have made the tourney. Tyler played great down the stretch. I just don’t understand the need to take shots at a guy who did his best for the program and definitely helped us win games.

Articles and boards like this really make WPN look bad.
