Our bigs were giant today. They were not in Hooville.
It’s almost like MG uses bad games as a learning/teaching experience. I really am starting to like him. No coincidence that Cat was the guy he singled out to embrace after the final whistle.
I thought the same thing. Did you see him hug Cat around the neck at the 5 sec mark?
ancsu87ParticipantNice article and post. Thanks!
ancsu87ParticipantI am completely drained. Need some coffee for my Broncos. A little pyrrhic, given that they have maybe a 1% chance in Foxboro, but I owe PeyPey my respectful attention.
Love the swagger we had for this game. You would have thought WE were the #2 team in the country.
Especially the swagger by the bigs. When they start to play consistently the same as they did today then we are a much much better team and we can even understand what offense we are trying to run.
ancsu87ParticipantBad decision, but at least he hit the freebies.
Cat’s decision to drive the lane when it was open was the correct one. You don’t hold a lead trying to run a four corners unless your a pussy. Besides isn’t what he did the exact thing people have been bitching about him not doing?
ancsu87Participant^ good observation.
What a group of State fans. Defend Liberty U in a post about an asshole like Hess and yet let one of our own be called lazy or stupid. I would be willing to bet Cat is probably smarter than you PackofMac. I got no tolerance for name calling of 19 yr old student athletes playing for your school.

That should be a UNC pussy blue logo in the background.

Clemson beat Pitt on the road.Yep, we’ll just have to beat Duke tomorrow to make up the loss in the cpu numbers … hehuhhehuhhe
Yea that too. I was more thinking that they are not as bad as they looked against UNC-Cheat and we will lose to them at least once. We never play with a crap against Clemson no matter who our coach is at the time.

But what is he really about and did that trait just appear such that he had to go. I find it humorous any Pathner fan would bad mouth Smith for his personality AFTER he left the team. He was a first class dick for years but I guess he was their dick so it was ok.

He was the same person his whole career at Carolina. I don’t see they took the high road. They made a business decision to get rid of a player they thought had declining skills and too much pay (and pay demand). They could look like they took the high road because compared to Smith most people or org can easily been seen as less of a dick.

Hess was on the verge of perdition that night v. Wofford. If observed closely, I believe he found salvation after Gottfried’s sermon, with apostle Orlando scribing the good word to the New Testiment.
In otherwords he flipped, and I think State would have been the recipient of many favorable calls from the fancy, but fractured Karl Hess.
That was what I thought you meant but since I did not see that game I was not 100% sure. Besides you explained it better than I would have.
ancsu87ParticipantSo the teams get better as the season unfolds (outside of the pre-season top 10 head case team).
ancsu87ParticipantLOL. I should have connected the headline with Hess sooner!!
CD why do you say he would have been valuable asset for us this year?
ancsu87ParticipantI’ve got no love for Hess, but a know a lot of Liberty grads and not a one of them is racist.
I, too, know a lot of Liberty grads… and I know zero who (a) have an open mind about any topic, or (b) have a single non-white friend or acquaintance.
Just sayin’…
I highly doubt that there are no racist Liberty grads or that all of them are racist. However the original post would imply that Hess is not racist since he is a Liberty grad. I can’t say for sure as racist and dick can be interchangeable to an extent but if I was getting I would take the over/under that he is.
ancsu87ParticipantAgain, good thing Herr Hess was a very stereotypical Falwell U man and was racist.
Dude, really? I realize there is a lot of schadenfreude right now, but that statement was ridiculous on a few levels.
I disagree. There is absolutely no schadenfreude over Karl’s Hess being removed from the ACC crew. His removal is not a misfortune that befell him. Rather it was a long overdue termination of a piss poor basketball official.
ancsu87ParticipantMaybe I am wrong but I recall that, in the past 4 years, 2 football players and 3 basketball players were involved in charges, pleas and investigations of physical assault and rape plus a felony theft. Not sure the Ducks have any room to quack. Oh and a NCAA slap on the wrist for football recruiting violations that could and should have been much more. Hard for me to see them as a class program compared to FSU. I see them as similar but at least one does not have a classless CEO supporting them.
ancsu87Participant^ Exactly
ancsu87Participant^ + 1
ancsu87Participant“It is also interesting to me that Mack was around this kind of fraud. His reputation has always been pristine when it comes to NCAA rules, but maybe that reputation is not deserved. Or perhaps, his ethics are simply fluid and he takes on the ethics of his employer.”
How the UNC BOT continues to ignore the laughingstock UNC-CH has become is beyond me. Too bad Bill Friday is not alive to see his Carolina Way today.
ancsu87Participantancsu87ParticipantBased on this article he will fit right into their culture.
“Chizik consented because he got to experience what not cheating and relying solely on his coaching acumen yielded at Iowa State. Auburn was an unbelievable gift. He couldn’t blow it. And he didn’t have to create the environment. He just had to not actively oppose it.”
Have to read down to get to the Chizik part but then there is some fantastic stuff regarding UNC-CH pre the latest bombshells. I need to see if this writer has followed up on the UNC situation.
ancsu87Participant^ and no Yankees…<br>
NHHS or Hoggard? No Yankees … LOL. It does seem overrun with them on my return trips.
NHHS 1982.
ancsu87Participant^ OK.. there’s at least ONE Noles fan here…
Plus One FSU grad….
Not an FSU fan just like the d(f)ucks even less
ancsu87ParticipantGuess I was the only one pulling for the Starkville Cowbells.
I detest chop blocks, legal or otherwise.
I agree plus Miss St graduates I have worked with are pretty good and are good people.
Not everyone outside of Tallahassee is pulling for Nike U.
ancsu87Participant^ I agree regarding UVa but maybe for a different reason. Against some teams in the ACC they will not be allowed to play their defense the way they have so far this season. They are not respected by Swoffy
