The thing about our team that I find so frustrating is the variability of performance. Sometimes they play like world beaters and sometimes they sleepwalk – often within the same game. I’d be interested to see our numbers plotted in a rolling ten game average. I’ve got to believe that line would trend up.
But what about ‘Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings’?
One of my favorites. An average movie but a hell of a story. The funeral scene is a classic. If you haven’t seen it it’s worth the time.
I saw the post before it was removed. I saw the humor in it. It was, to me, obviously tongue in cheek. It could also have been left completely unsaid. The question is: is this web site the appropriate place for an acticle like that? If it were posted to a humor site most people wouldn’t bat an eye. Because this web site is associated with our Alma Mater I understand the censorship.
That said, cripes, people – get a sense of humor!
I line in Maryland (DC metro area) and once again the game is not on local TV. We’re being treated to Syracuse/ND. ESPN3 blacks out the feed because the game is available even though it isn’t picked up. I’m going to try TuneIn Radio so I can at least listen. Has anyone used that app before?
I’ve been using the football & basketball Google calender for several years. I don’t know who puts them together, but thanks! I wish they would add one for baseball.
If I’m remembering it correctly, that year they only rushed three a good part of the time and still pressured the QB.

I was at the game. We left after six innings because my wife got cold. Sounds like we didn’t miss much. Our neighbor plays for UMd. He scored a couple of times. For me, that was about the most exciting thing all night.
Rodon was throwing hard but lacked control. I said to my wife at the game, I think he likes the hot weather.
The overall impression I got was that Maryland wanted that game and State would have been happy to not be there. The Pack just seemed to not have their hearts in it. I REALLY hope I’m wrong but that’s what it felt like to me.
