ParticipantI don’t follow wrestling either. But I do appreciate the posts here Sacco, and it’s a great way to keep up with other Pack sports.

ParticipantRoo, I was in that dump for Russell Wilson’s last game at N.C. State. Fun time, cruddy venue.

ParticipantCan’t stream it anywhere. Tunein.com does have a link, but you get a voice message saying “because of our contract with Learfield Sports, Eagle 107 cannot live stream this content.” Think I’ll go do Christmas shopping.

ParticipantThanks BJD and TEx. I really needed something to smile about. I’m so dejected after Florida State, Wilhelm and Marietta and Bam Bam bye bye.

ParticipantGreat story. I wouldn’t go back either – unless I thought I could bring N.C. State a championship. This featury stuff is the type of story Rolling Stone does well. Hard news – not so much.

ParticipantFYI, the link in the forums to the game is showing baseball: Spokane Indians vs. Hillsborough Hops. Search for Old Dominion or N.C. State returns nada.

ParticipantI have fond memories of a lot of TOB things, but for many reasons, he was past his prime by the end of his tenure at State. If he somehow could have drawn in younger blood that could feast on the recruiting trail, well, maybe things could be different.
In a pipe dream world, I always imagined the ideal would have been TOB as a coach/administrator/set the tone of the program type, with Chuck the Chest as the rah-rah cheerleader/dreamer/recruit the Wolves type.
I wish both well. I read somewhere (maybe here) that Chuck was an assistant at Akron. The irony abounds.

ParticipantTrue, Pakfanistan. But later on, Genghis Khan learned it was best to keep victims of his conquest alive and tax them year after year. More overall revenue that way, even without compound interest! 🙂
