Key stretch here to end the half.
No way we can win if Duke keeps hitting their 3’s and getting to the rim so easy.
We’ll never be able to keep up this scoring pace from our role players, you know everyone not wearing #24.

Nothing in particular just wanted to remind everyone who the dirtiest player in the ACC is.
^I actually think we should pack it in some a la Virginia and take our chances with contested three’s … If Duke’s allowed to drive at will it will be a long day.
So far hanging in there … could really start swinging some momentum if we start rebounding the ball.
How do you pack in the D and still contest 3’s?
The worst thing we can do is allow them open 3’s.

Duke is simply faster off the dribble. Going to be a long afternoon if the pack doesn’t set up on D.

I quickly switched to Brando/Gminski when I heard Vitale’s voice. Nails on a chalkboard.
One team that’s in on the Dance Card that just defies logic but apparently not the math is Southern Miss. You put their numbers up against NCSU in a blind test and you take NCSU every time from what the NCAA has said about who you have played and beaten.
Unfortunately that’s the only team ahead of the Pack I can say we’d deserve it over in a head to head comparison, with our current record. Too many blown games this year that it comes down to beating Duke to get at least an at-large bid or hello NIT.
I think someone already pointed out that we need Providence to lose tonight so they don’t take a spot they can only get with an automatic bid. Go Creighton!!! Of course we’ll already know our result long before then and we’d leap frog enough others, most other bubble teams are done, that a Providence automatic wouldn’t effect State. Another team that could steal a spot from a bubble team is St. Bonnie, would be nice if they lost today to make sure they don’t. I’d include UGA in this group as well.
FYI: the latest Dance Card has State just 2 spots out. Huge jump with the win coupled with many bubble teams losing yesterday.
Yes the fish is flopping. Couldn’t find an animated one before the day got busy.
I was also going to recap last night more and add the final possession clip I music but alas time is not my friend today.
You guys do know that if State and Clemson just play perfect games (zero missed shots, zero missed FT’s, zero turnovers) then they will have every chance to win.
Any crazy superstitions out there people will be doing for the game to ensure a Pack victory?

FSU is an engima because them beating UVA makes them State’s 3rd Top 50 win (they are currently #51) but at the same time they are another bubble team ahead of the Pack.
I’ve been taking screen shots of the Dance Card and State has been at 61 for several days.
Could have sworn State was 65 yesterday but that’s why I don’t try to rely on my memory. One thing I did notice is the Pack has gone from 0.0% to 0.07%. #1 with a bullet baby!!!!
I’m pretty sure State moved up about 4 spots after the dance card was updated this morning. Of course it had more to do with those ahead of State losing than the Pack beating Miami.
Everyone is saying we must beat Cuse, then Duke (NOT Clemson) to have a bubble case. Of course, Clemson helps us get to the finals a little easier.
It’s not about making the finals for the NCAAT at-large, it’s about who you beat and beating Duke is valuable where beating Clemson isn’t.
We need to increase our RPI or BPI or RBI’s or something to that effect. I think if we beat Miami (check), The Cuse, Dook, and then *NX, we will have increased our RPI enough to get an at large berth…………
Yes, that was a lame attempt at humor, because if we do that obviously we win the tourney and the automatic spot.
It’s not about making your RPI better (though that helps) it’s that State needs signature wins which the Pack currently doesn’t have any. Get the signature wins and the RPI will take care of itself.
You should have picked us to win by 100 points.

If ever there was a ‘throw the kitchen sink at them’, this is it. Absolutely nothing to lose.
As for myself everytime I think and say the Pack will win they fail to realize a game was being played that day. If I bad mouth them or call a player out for poor performances suggesting their time be reduced they come out like gangbusters and shock us all with their play. So I’ll continue to predict losses.
It’s only weird if it doesn’t work.
