Classic sports poetry….
The last thing we saw Mr. Smith do in the PNC was “dribble to himself”….See ya!!!

Unless I missed him at a pee break, nope!
02/25/2017 at 2:11 PM #119117WufpackerParticipantholy shit, during the WVU/TCU game Chris Washburn gets a mention that didn’t have anything to do with law enforcement or court dates.
Nice.
02/25/2017 at 2:11 PM #119118Heelh8rParticipantHe didn’t want to get hurt and affect his draft status
02/25/2017 at 2:14 PM #119120WolfanaticParticipantDoris didn’t seem happy that Gottfried Gottfired. Bet he ends up back at ESPN.
02/25/2017 at 2:15 PM #119121MrPlywoodParticipantBet he ends up back at ESPN.
He can announce hard.
02/25/2017 at 2:17 PM #119124WulfpackParticipantRegarding the NIT, last year they took FSU, VT and GT.
VT was 10-8 in conference.
FSU and GT were each 8-10.
My guess is this year NIT bids will be reserved for the likes of Wake, GT and Clemson, assuming they miss out on the NCAA Tourney.

Yes. A tall skinny dude getting abused by a man bun.

They keep saying he wants to keep coaching. I seriously doubt a high major takes him. I could see him at a place like ECU or Tulane or some directional Florida school.
02/25/2017 at 2:21 PM #119127AdventurooParticipantComments from game.
Crowd was a little larger than expected.
Gottfried did not play Y7.
Maverick was afraid to shoot at end.
Brickhouse in game. Crowd yelling for BJ. He stands up a little and looks towards Gottfried. Gott turns head and ignores him.
Really won’t miss that @$$ hole side of him. Presser was all teams fault.
Erratic substitution. No creativity in defense first half. Love Maverick, but when you’re OFF, you should be OUT. Favoritism at work.

In other words, teams with coaches…
02/25/2017 at 2:24 PM #119129BJD95KeymasterCount Clemson in the NIT, even before we beat them. They miss a wide open 8-footer and lose close again, now 4-12 in conference.

Yep. Dey toast. And not good for Brownell.
02/25/2017 at 2:28 PM #119131MikeParticipantNot a fan of Doris Burke and you know you have reached a new low when she is in town. BUT, she did say during the 2nd half – “I was excited to see Smith and knew I had these two games in a row to see him play. Frankly I am underwhelmed.”
Spot on, nailed it!
GUY with the bun repeatedly burned DSJ for a career high. I would be interested in seeing a +/- stat like they have in hockey for DSJ and the man he is guarding (and I use that term very loosely).
02/25/2017 at 2:29 PM #119132WulfpackParticipantDSJ is a fantastic offensive player.
02/25/2017 at 2:31 PM #119133MrPlywoodParticipantFrankly I am underwhelmed.
Funny, that’s what I’ve been thinking all year about Gott.
02/25/2017 at 2:34 PM #119134GoldenChainParticipantOh…and …way to go out with your heads up er, down. College ball is such a fickle thing, such a change in 2 years. Why can’t this happen elsewhere in the triangle?!
02/25/2017 at 2:35 PM #119135AdventurooParticipantIf Clemson goes in a new direction, Brownell’s GPS will let him down….Big Time.
Say Hello to Mr. Wade in Tiger Town.
Our list will be shorter. VCU is about financially as tapped out as is the National Debt. Alum women and daughters will revolt and not go back to VCU Coach’s Fund Escort and Fantasy Services. He ain’t Shaka

I hope you weren’t think somehow we would be in that mix…. we were 12-3 and now we’re 15-15. Would you hire someone with such a stellar resume?.
02/25/2017 at 2:42 PM #119137WulfpackParticipantChain, my point was precisely that we are not in the NIT mix. Not even close.
And it doesn’t help to have a lame duck coach even IF we were closer. They like to hand out bids to programs that are on the rise. And that ain’t us this year.
02/25/2017 at 2:58 PM #119140MrPlywoodParticipantYou can feel the love between KH and “coach”…
NC State Athletics: Emotional day for @PackMensBball as we celebrate our seniors!
02/25/2017 at 3:06 PM #119142GoldenChainParticipantComeon Plywood, Gott is loved by his players! Anya only wishes he had another year so he could either transfer or gain another 45#.
Wulf figured, just picking.
02/25/2017 at 3:09 PM #119143choppack1ParticipantHeard a tidbit on the post game show that in home acc games our opponents shot 51% from the 3 point line.
Impressive.
