    Our DEFENSE sucked tonight — We gave up 78 points tonight
    well above our season average of 73 points…

    and the Hokies MADE THIRTEEN 3pointers…

    On the other hand, the “Fix the Offense” guys should be smiling…

    I will defend it to my dying breath – GFK does more Rodney Monroe things than anyone we’ve had since Rodney Monroe. Effective use of the body to seal off the defender, ALWAYS looking to get the highest percentage shot, and not just the first one available. Shooter AND scorer. Those are uber rare nowadays…

    We understandably lost a little focus with the giant lead, but we put the boot to ’em every time they made a run, which is what good teams do. At least now in the right frame of mind to enter he house that dare not speak its name.

    Syracuse makes Miami look as bad as Miami made us look. And Duke with the wandering leg back made GT look as bad as VT made them look. So maybe it is our turn to make somebody look bad?
