Although he hasn’t messed up as bad as he did at Bama – it’s pretty obvious since year 2 that there’s an accountability issue.
You can be liked, but not respected. If one is a competitor, the lack of accountability likely drives them mad.
I don’t like to speculate on the “why” we are losing, but since year 2 it’s pretty obvious to me that Gott a) plays favorites b) those favorites can basically do what they want and c) that has a negative impact on most of the team – especially when it comes to doing the dirty work.
