You forgot to add the part where Marlin says “Jim wrestles the alligator while I wait in the truck”. Well, our guys better be ready and not “waiting in the truck” like Marlin because they can “orchestrate kills on inattentive prey, no matter the current state of the pride.”.
Personally, I don’t see a trap game from here out. Not because of our opponents, or that we are that good. More because this team should realize by now that we have the ability to put together an exceptional season, and anything less than full preparation AND execution can easily translate to a loss at any time, thus derailing things.
The above doesn’t mean that we win out, merely that there is even less excuse than usual for stepping on your own d!ck from here onward . Of course, that does mean that everyone is committed to that at this point (yes, this is an assumption)
I’m betting the PACK rolls into town, totally disregarding the lay of the land and the local culture, takes care of business and leaves ’em in disarray…Wild West Cowboy style…

Not to be picky about history but we were in VERY similar waters in 2002. I was at the Carter when we went down in flames on that Thursday night. It wasn’t pretty. Here’s hoping we don’t get dashed on the rocks. I’m pretty sure the three rivers haven’t seen a hurricane since Agnes in 73 so no high winds or driving rain but considering our last forays into games played in an intense storm (see Syracuse 97 and the Dame in 16) that could help us if it happened.
