Lots of basketball in this final weekend of the regular season, some of more interest than others.
Miami beat WF to secure the 10 seed.
GT beat VT in the battle of the Techs.
Iowa State buried a 3 as time expired to send their game against Okalahoma State to OT with Smart on the bench with 5 fouls. Really great game.
Missouri and Tennessee going at it right now, everyone should be pulling for UT since they are the Pack’s lone Top 50 win.
Pitt and Clemson going at it right now too.03/08/2014 at 4:31 PM #44755pakfanistanParticipantI’m watching AZ vs Oregon at the moment. That court makes my brain hurt.
This is my first opportunity to see Arizona this year. I’m interested to see what Sean Miller is doing with them.
03/08/2014 at 4:34 PM #44756WufpackerParticipantA road win vs the Tiggs likely gets Pitt back to that top 50 line (at least close) as well.
Of course the Tiggs aren’t cooperating so far though.
03/08/2014 at 4:48 PM #447581.21 JigawattsKeymasterI’m not holding my breath that Pitt will win. Besides even if they do they’ll play a high RPI team on Thursday and that’ll lower their RPI and then likely lose on Friday which would lower their RPI again and be outside the Top 50.
03/08/2014 at 4:49 PM #447601.21 JigawattsKeymasterThe Vols are laying it to Missouri right now 31-17 2:36 first half.
03/08/2014 at 5:42 PM #44771pakfanistanParticipantI don’t think Pitt is going to do us any favors. They can’t seem to break through and take the lead.
03/08/2014 at 5:42 PM #44772pakfanistanParticipantTied. Hopefully I just jinxed clempson.
03/08/2014 at 5:54 PM #44774WufpackerParticipantI’m gonna refrain from mentioning the halftime score of the Women’s ACC semi vs ND. Tune to ESPNU if you want it.
Minus Gatling it’s even uglier than it would have been otherwise. ND gals are the real deal. Maybe if we face them in the final four the third time will be the charm.
Or not.
03/08/2014 at 6:10 PM #447761.21 JigawattsKeymasterPitt ties the game on last second 2 after Clemson TO under their basket. Being reviewed, it’s close but looks to close to overturn.
03/08/2014 at 6:11 PM #44777Fastback68ParticipantClempson S—!
03/08/2014 at 6:11 PM #44778WulfpackParticipantGreat job there by the refs. Going to OT. Mojo on Pitt’s side.
03/08/2014 at 6:12 PM #44779WufpackerParticipantI’d hate to be the officials on that one.
But yeah…suck it Clemson.
03/08/2014 at 6:18 PM #44780WulfpackParticipantThat is as close as you will ever see it. But it was called good, so you gotta go with that. Pitt now up 7 in OT.
03/08/2014 at 6:30 PM #44782Fastback68ParticipantPitt guts dead tiger walking.
03/08/2014 at 6:31 PM #447831.21 JigawattsKeymasterGood Job Pitt, your win helps the Pack.
So the 2 games the Pack needed help with today came through. Pitt/UT both with wins and thus should give the Pack 2 Top 50 wins and maybe improve their RPI.
At least the game tonight doesn’t mean diddly squat and we can all cheer for a giant sinkhole.
03/08/2014 at 7:39 PM #44789MrPlywoodParticipantAZ loses to O, proving that NC State sh*t knows no bounds and effects coaches State was just wishing for. 🙂
03/08/2014 at 7:44 PM #44790MrPlywoodParticipantThe Pack women have had better days, but it was to be expected playing ND with 3 seniors out. Myisha Goodwin-Coleman and Lakeesa Daniel unfortunately are done for the year, hopefully Gatling will be back for the NCAA tourney.
03/08/2014 at 8:36 PM #44794WufpackerParticipantThis just in…Duke and Carolina play tonight. You’d think someone on ESPN would be talking about that. (/sarcasm)
03/08/2014 at 9:09 PM #44797bill.onthebeachParticipant… comment pending…

time for Paige to go to work…Interesting — Uncle Roy is switching his Zone from a 1-3-1 to a 2-3 … more or less… on alternate possessions….
