Man, that Maryland series. They’re 3-8 against the rest of the league, 3-0 against us. Win just one of those, and we’re a half-game ahead of them in the standings. Sigh…
Yeah. Disappointing season so far, but hopefully they can turn it around.
Communism is not love. Communism is a hammer which we use to crush the enemy. Mao Zedong
Hope. Its all we have. Color me stunned that a team with average recruiting rankings >25 is playing like it. Last year seems an anomaly more-so than an inflection point.

I guess the Supers in the previous year was an outlier, too.
You have any idea what it takes?
I do, and it doesn’t involve parked pitchers, studying Portuguese.
Avg. recruiting rankings >25?
I’m not inclined to spend even the few minutes it would take to refute this.
Sweep the Devils, and we will be safe for GBO (and likely for the NCAAT).
Carlos Rodon (2 runs allowed, 1 earned) takes the loss (2-6) in spite of fanning 12 batters, as the Devils limit the Pack to 3 base hits en route to a 2-0 win in game one.
With the 12 Ks tonight, Rodon is now the all time career strikeout leader at NCSU.
So much for that sweep…
State takes game two by a final of 6-2. Rubber game tomorrow at 1pm.
Pack blows a 10-4 8th inning lead.
Duke walks off with an 11-10 come from behind win Sunday to take the series.
Goodness gracious. Brutal. This season is slipping away. Not sure what the deal is, but very disappointing following a great run last year.
