Let me be the only one who likes the hire. I said it earlier I think Keatts will do just fine. Yeah throw all those nice and pretty defensive stats his teams had at UNCW. Don’t care.

Keats was able to overcome the perineal NCAA sweet 16 powers Hofstra, James Madison, Elon, Drexel, Delaware, William Mary, Towson! Evidently all the quality high school coaches said no to Yow!

2. Why in the world are we letting this out if it’s still just an offer?He verbally accepted. He was just inteviewed today. Not even time to draw up a contract. He’s our coach.
Again, I’m confused as hell as to why we even fired Gottfried. Put the athletic dept. in a financial hole for likely a down grade. At least MLB season is less than a month away.

Truth Is… most of old guys still feel betrayed from the purge of the 1990’s and the only way we will heal is to see some REALLY BIG MONEY from the University, not Wendall and his crowd, into Athletics… as retribution for the 25yrs of hell we heard from Durham and Orange Counties….
