N.C. State coach Mark Gottfried: “I was saying to myself, Can we just get a rebound? Just somebody grab the ball. And it was interesting every time it left their hands, it never really looked like it was going in. So we were okay. But we escaped on that one obviously right there.”
No f-cking way do I watch that again. Once was enough, and I’m still afraid the ending might change.
For once, we must have been in proper rebounding position. Every shot was a weird carom or airball, usually we’d have a guy woefully out of position and catch those.
