Those of us who grew up around here remember those commercials. “That’s the time to take BC” . It was a headache / pain / hangover reliever in powder form…it competed with Goody’s (if memory serves correct.)
Well Saturday the wolfpack needs to do exactly that. We are in a similar position as we have been in before with DD’s squads. After a decent start that got some attention, we have failed to completely silence the doubters…fair or unfair.
A win over BC would be a solid start to the final 3rd of the season. It is going to be tough. It looks like Saturday will be raw. No one will be in the stadium, the ground and football will feel like concrete.
There’s still a ton at stake for the Pack. NC State can still have it’s best season since 1979 (arguably) and get it’s most conference wins ever. A 7-1 record would also give pack a share a of the division championship for the first time ever.
While the golden ring is no longer available, it’s time for this staff and program to differentiate itself from its predecessors.
To me, this game is all about toughness and discipline. We seen what happened in the past to DD’s teams in these situations…last year it was Louisville, in 2014 it was a terrible performance at Clemson that saw us down 30-0 at the half.
Like those games, this week we have a nooner on the road against a team that is on a roll. Saturday will tell us a lot.
1) Don’t turn the ball over
2) Don’t give up anymore 70 yard runs
3) Don’t get beat on special teamsMauled at ND, losing to Clempson on mistakes/coaching so this one should be of interest.

Yep cow – I am hoping that how bad we want it is a hint of how bad our guys want it. Huge game… even though it may mean nothing to rest of the nature, it’s all about changing a tone and expectations

Three damn plays away from being undefeated in conference. The stupid a$$ release guys not laying the boom on McLeod of Clempson coupled with 7 missed tackles to follow and then after flipping the field giving up ANOTHER 70 plus yard run from scrimmage.
Pardon the hell out of me but that is coaching up on side and down the other.
I’m not going to count the Finley pick since their QB threw one and State converted the points.
The final score should have been 31-24 PACK.
And yes, ND MAULED THEM.
