TheCOWDOG
ModeratorHowling at the moon and stars
Sometimes I think the moon howls back. That white skinned, tight snouted bitch, all mockery and jest.
Upon my old age as I curl upon my back for wanted rest, under the shade of my gnarled oak tree.
The time has come, can you not hear the howling?
The hunt is called again…This time without me.
That is in honor of our good friend, Wufpacker, who lost his Wolf pops, this afternoon.

ParticipantSincere thank you to all.
But please, no condolences are necessary. I’ll miss the hell out of him of course. But without going into too much detail, this has been a while in the coming, he had literally not been himself for a long while, and this final destination really is a blessing at this point.
‘Dog, what can I say? No words, my brother. But I’m pretty sure you’ll appreciate the significance of this one given the specifics involved. Been a reliable tearjerker for the past few months…

ParticipantPeace to the Wuf family…
The Old Wuf is in Wuf Heaven.A friend of mine, a State grad, told me one time…
“You ain’t a man until you bury your Pop…”I didn’t understand really what he meant at the time, but I do now…

Participant^We buried mine at too young an age over 30 years past…still miss him. Condolences, Wuf…expected or not, this can still be a difficult thing to accept.

ParticipantWufpacker, my condolences my fellow pack fan. I lost my father just recently as well. You never get over it but you manage to get through it on the occasions that it hits you. It does get a little easier. May your father RIP.

ParticipantWufpacker, my words probably don’t mean much but as a fellow pack fan I am so sorry for your loss. As I near 37 and my father 70 I now realize no day is promised with my father. I can not imagine and again I am very sorry. I’d take your pain gladly if I could. Do what you must to get through each coming day, ignore anything else. Thanks for your involvement on this site, I enjoy every letter typed.
