She was just unsure if she was bowling, or figure skating.

Didn’t even see the path the ball took until like the 4th or 5th watch.08/17/2014 at 10:13 PM #54252redcanineParticipantThe tiara really stifled her release. Probably could have gone with some eye black too. Now that’s pageantry!

09/05/2014 at 8:48 PM #55502WufpackerParticipantNot a lot things spook me. For some reason ghost planes kinda do. Eerie shit.

I can understand…something wrong with a phone connection or another “butt dial”…Couldn’t hear anything?? Will catch you later today. I have to go pick up some tailgating food and not so much this week. I was out of town all week and my wife had to eat leftover fried chicken and ham biscuits all week!
But there was a BIG OMEN! I heard a rooster crow every morning and he was still doing it at 7 o’clock at night when I’d go back to the motel in Dillsboro! Hopefully that means the Cocks will take out their frustrations against the Pirots!
Go Pack! Make it 2 in a row!

Powerful stuff, and exceptionally well written.
On the one hand, if you’re not a writer, I think you missed your calling.
On the other, if you were a writer, you might not have the stories.
I guess I’ll just enjoy it for what it is.

Only three days left and Summer2014 is history….Still time for a chuckle…

Hey Nineteen would be more that I had in mind.11/29/2014 at 11:07 AM #54204Fastback68ParticipantThanks Cowdog for sanctioning the word Blackfoot. I watched my teenage son work the 10 & 2 position in order to make the perfect fly cast and land his first ever rainbow on said river. I plan to retell that story for years. I was surprised to learn the Blackfeet tribe sold a considerable plot of land to the government back in 1989. Summer doldrums took a 2 week hiatus. 17 days to go.
11/29/2014 at 11:08 AM #54000Fastback68ParticipantMy chronic lower back pain forces me to the sidelines often but today it was a blessing. I worked my way back down the riverbank just in time to see my teenage son working the 10 and 2 back and forth with our guide. He made a sweet cast and extended the line at the very end to keep that fly out there as long as possible. When his line went straight on the strike, I all most fell over. The look on his face was priceless.
Thanks Cowdog for sanctioning the use of the word Blackfoot as I will be retelling this story forever. No Doldrums here.
11/29/2014 at 11:08 AM #54011Fastback68ParticipantThanks Cowdog for sanctioning the word Blackfoot. I watched my teen age son work the 10 and 2 action and lay out a perfect fly cast. When the line went straight with his first ever trout, I almost fell over. Summer doldrums on the ropes. 26 days to fb.
