Today’s game was very similar to the BC game. Halftime lead, lost lead, regained lead then surged to win.

Still, we only turned it over 5 times… against a pretty athletic team. But please, no more lazy passes. Not against Syrupcuse for heaven’s sake.
This was also easily Vandy’s best game in months. He stayed within himself, and even boxed out several times. Once earning himself a chest bump from Hipster Cat.
Snoop Cat played a good game tonight. He and Lewis combined for 11 assists and ZERO turnovers. We’ll need that kind of efficiency again tomorrow.
I think we need to beat Duke to have a bubble case. So an upset late tomorrow might mean we have to win the automatic bid anyway.
that’s unfortunate, because we would be pretty lucky to make it past Syracuse, I don’t see any favorable outcome against Duke. That would also be a third game in three days for 40min TJ. edit: Warren played 37 tonight.

Totally agree, I even noticed once him jumping up & down for the ball when they ran zone against us. Very active. Will need the same thing again tonight vs a strong 40mins of zone.
As everyone know’s, when shooters get hot, they are virtually unstoppable. The good thing about back to back games like this is someone like Ralston will likely stay hot. I was at the game last night, and you could just see his confidence. With TJ doing his thing, the combo of him and Turner I think will be lethal.

It’s not about making the finals for the NCAAT at-large, it’s about who you beat and beating Duke is valuable where beating Clemson isn’t.

It’s not about making your RPI better (though that helps) it’s that State needs signature wins which the Pack currently doesn’t have any. Get the signature wins and the RPI will take care of itself.
I get that. Was just making the point that obviously Clemson is an easier out for us than Duke. If we are going to win it all, Clemson provides the much easier road. But I am pulling for Duke today as this helps us more in the signature win category.
I know I’m in the minority here, but I actually don’t want Maryland to go. Of course, I’ve never been a visiting fan at any of their arenas, either. It’s just the nostalgia of the greatest game ever (74 ACCT final). And Lefty and Len Bias.
