This is a fellow Everton fan talking about Liverpool (Premier League soccer):

We definitely hate them more than they hate us on the whole. They hate Utd like we hate them. One of my best mates is a red and he’s fairly sound about us, but in a smarmy, condescending way. I say horrible things about them, and he often says ‘I dunno why you feel like that, we aren’t like that towards you’.

I have to tell him you know the way you loathe Utd and every single thing associated with them, and everything they stand for, well that’s how we feel about you.

Seriously, this is EXACTLY the same as the Pack/Holes/Duke dynamic. In case keeping score at home:

Everton = NC State
Liverpool = Holes
Man Utd = Duke
