Part of me was glad that Virginia lost, none of me was glad Unsux won. All of me wanted to kick K in the balls, thanks for coming out like the world was going to end against us then playing like the world had ended against a decent Notre Dame team. Im on board with the coliseum falling in.
The ND hate runs very deep with me. My Longhorn wife has pulled for the Aggies against ND in the past. I just can’t go there with UNC-CH. This is pretty much a nuclear testing or Al-Quaeda training game for me.
^ Put it this way…I am REALLY glad this isn’t a football game. ND football is equivalent to Duke basketball, and vice versa.
I can’t believe I’m going to be pulling for Notre Dame in a sports competition. It’s like I’m in some weird, alternate universe…

We can take a small modicum of pride that State beat Duke three times this season … It’s just that Miami and Notre Dame benefited a bit more directly in two of those games 😉
Another benefit of a ND win is getting another year of blue-centric teeth gnashing re: 4 yrs of no blue ACCT championships.
Wish it wasn’t ND, but still worth it.

I’m prepared to do the Stations of the Cross, if that’s what it takes, to summon Shadow Packer, Adrian Brantley.
I’ll be getting my Catholic freak on by praying to St. Patrick for an early green beer and an Irish win.
ABC all the way but I won’t pull for either team. My biggest gripe with ND: If they won’t be in our football conference, they don’t deserve to be in our basketball conference either. Screw em and the blues too.
I pull for the NC State Wolfpack and anyone playing the UNC Chapel Hill powder blue cheats. Even Notre Dame.
