Petition has been started for Blackout vs Clemson

Several students are trying to get everyone to join in to blackout Carter Finley and make Halloween a nightmare for Clemson. We need your help in bringing Wolfpack Nation together along with our team. Also how great would it beat for a team in black and a team in orange for Halloween!

Game time is 5 pm. Black probably not the best choice for this time of year, but temps are supposed to be significantly lower this weekend.

I read on one Wolfpack site(maybe this one), that we have 27 uniform combos and only 12 games. It’s stupid. Thanks Oregon. Alabama has 2 uniform combos and they always look good, because they always win. L’ville looked stupid last Saturday. It’s gone too far. All these schools could buy poor kids books with the extra money. I’m done.

3 colors of trousers * 3 colors of jerseys * 3 colors of helmets = 27. Doesn’t seem so ridiculous when you look at it like that.

I would say that the minimum number of combinations is 4 if they only have red helmets or 8 if they have both red and white helmets.

The way Alabama’s been falling off lately, we may see a black uni and 27 combinations soon. 😉

I know you weren’t asking but here’s an answer anyway. Black soaks up sun rays. The youth soccer team I coached wore new red jerseys with black numbers in a tournament in Texas. The game started at 2 PM and the sun was blazing hot. After the game most of the guys pulled off the jerseys and their backs had red numbers burned on.

I don’t think our black jerseys will be hotter in the evening than the red ones. I’d be concerned if the game was at noon or even 3. Better to wear them now than risk wearing them in an early afternoon game.

Alabama is falling off? You’re kidding right? They just beat Wisconsin(always a good program)35-17 in the season opener. Maybe if we say “Alabama is falling off” enough, it will come true. Let’s start saying “Duke is falling of in basketball” as well.

Guess I missed they smiley. Bama can wear any uni combo. But I can’t recall the last time they varied from
home- red helmet, red jersey, white pants
Road – red helmet, white jersey, white pants
Pretty standard for them.
