Knotted at 5, but GT has a little something something going on in the 6th (runners on the corners, 2 away). Pitching change for the Pack, Austin Staley.
Wow…that was fugly. Sun yeah, I get it. But still.
And I may or may not have just scared the cat by yelling obscenities very loudly.
Staley didn’t get the defensive support, failed to record an out.
Brabrand comes on.
Still 2 outs in the 6th, runners 1st 2nd….now 8-5 Bees.
Check that…double makes it 9-5 Bees…runners on 2nd 3rd.
CONSARTNITT!!!!!!
f-ck you sun!!!!!!
I hope Jobu has the bats warmed up bcuz otherwise this one’s over.
Mercifully, the 6th is finally over.
11-5 Jackets.
Please excuse me as I must break some shit now.
Ouch. So this is how that feels
Costly muff fo’ sho’. Bad.
11-7 Tech was 5-5 then you asked the question. Must be your fault Beej 🙂
bottom of 7
Well, the streak was bound to end at some point. Shit happens.
And curse my in-game curiosity! NEVAR again!!!
11-7 Tech top of the 8th
It been a great game to watch regardless of the score.
Knizner is due. A good shot here would at least make it interesting.
Hey look, GT’s centerfielder had no sun issues.
Dick.
Road series win vs a ranked team is a good thing. Sweep was a bridge too far.
Bless me Lord for I am not being greedy.
The Ramblin’ Wreck are rapidly wreaking revenge.
Yeah. Those guys suck.
I’m quite happy with winning the series – wished there was a sweep but not to be. I have enjoyed watching the game via ESPN3 but no mas for me.
Wow…that was a weak ending.
But series win vs ranked opponent on the road….I’ll take it.
It stinks losing the last game, but winning the series. It feels like a downer even though it was a good series win on the road. Looking back later it will look good, though. They scored a buttload of runs this past week. I just need some time.
Wake keeping things interesting with a series win over FSU. And Louisville brought the brooms out against Clemson.
I’ll take the blame. Didn’t make it to the park for the finale.
Communism is not love. Communism is a hammer which we use to crush the enemy. Mao Zedong
With the road series win at GT, Pack’s ranking up to #8, RPI up to #6 (against the #4 ranked schedule).
Welcome to the national seed discussion, Wolfpack. Please try and stay there for a little while at least.
As promised, a reminder about tomorrow night’s ECU game in Greenville…Real TV, CBSSN, 6:30pm.
