    One could make the case (and it may have already been made around here) that we had a hand in Nova’s championship with that win last year.

    And, yes, I masquerade as Captain Obvious.

    Watching SportsCenter this morning, they talked about NC State’s buzzer beater in 1983 about as much as the game last night. Even showed a replay. Since it was uncCHEAT on the losing end it was nice to see, very nice indeed.

    As expected… The game fulfilled ALL expectations….

    Now, some will hit the recruiting trail… others are headed to the courtroom….

    A little baseball interlude…
    then football follows in 16 weeks…

    The glorious irony I see of the Carolina fans whining about the fairness of how the game was called last night. NOW you want an equal playing field? Perfection would be if they could hear the haughty whispers of the refs, “It’s the Villanova way.”
