12/08/2015 at 9:19 AM #94368BJD95Keymasteroh, crap. What a bummer, I had not heard.
12/08/2015 at 4:56 PM #94380MrPlywoodParticipantFWIW, ESPN rates the Belk Bowl #18 out of the 40 bowls in terms of entertainment value.

12/08/2015 at 5:19 PM #94382TheCOWDOGModeratorTop 20. See…I told ya so!
Hey, the season did not unfold as I expected, but this a damn fine showcase bowl just the same.12/08/2015 at 7:45 PM #94384BJD95KeymasterIt’s a HUGE opportunity, and up to us to do something with it.
That’s appropriate b/c Second Chance AND there are cowbells! Best to prepare now, yo…
12/09/2015 at 11:01 PM #94391mak4dpakParticipantHear Canada is in the running for the ECU job. I wouldn’t mind that happening at all. Our offense if pretty predictable, and DD ain’t firing his staff, regardless.
12/10/2015 at 7:00 AM #94392BassPackerParticipantECU is a powder keg right now. There is a big petition to bring Ruffin back by players and fans…and fire the AD. Cant see Canada setting sail in those rough seas. If they do hire Canada at ECU, look for a quick mutiny if don’t win early and often. Would make an interesting game come Sept 10th with Canada on the opposite sidelines in Greenville…..Arrrrr !
“If ye thinks he be ready to sail a beauty, ye better be willin’ to sink with her.”
12/10/2015 at 6:38 PM #94395tjfoose1ParticipantHe… I wouldn’t mind that happening at all. Our offense if pretty predictable, and DD ain’t firing his staff, regardless.
That’s funny.
Both statements.
12/10/2015 at 8:18 PM #94396TheCOWDOGModerator🙂 Me too, but the Fisherman has always shown to be a really good guy.
Frankly, I am still waiting for someone to grip the Starkville pic.
12/10/2015 at 10:20 PM #94397redwolf87ParticipantYou get locked up in Starkville for picking flowers.
Ask the Man in Black.
12/11/2015 at 7:59 AM #94400Pack78Participant^^CD-I’ll take a stab-something to do with psilocybin and other mind-altering substances?
12/11/2015 at 8:43 AM #94401AsheWolfParticipantNah. That’s shrooms growing on that pie. But not that kind of shroom. I spent some formative years in Gainesville FL during the 60’s and 70’s. I was a fun guy if you know what I mean.
Nowadays I carry a flask of whiskey at all times on account of snakebites. I also carry a small snake with me. Just in case.
12/11/2015 at 9:38 AM #94405TheCOWDOGModeratorAhhh…but yes, there is magic within a Starkville pattycake.

12/11/2015 at 9:50 PM #94415Pack78ParticipantMy freshman year (’74-’75) a friend and I drove out to El Paso and watched Rocky Felker at QB and MSU beat the Cheats in a foggy Sun Bowl. Original plan was to make our bowl in Houston, but we couldn’t do both-Felker was a hell of a baseball player IIRC…
12/12/2015 at 6:44 AM #94417LRMKeymasterSpeaking of fan support, I saw Iowa has requested 55,000 tickets for the Rose Bowl. They may have 85,000 at the game.
