WBS has looked MUCH better tonight. If he could learn to shoot it would be perfect. Cat is still struggling with his decision making and shot selection. Why can’t we play both PG’s at the same time a little more?
Also, WBS had done very well on defenses tonight thus far which is usually his weakness.
I’ve seen more crowd energy in a Miami at BC game.
I didn’t know William Shatner was a State fan
Anyone think this lazy-eyed Cozens dude looks like Greg Paulus?
Barbers main problem appears to be that this is his first year of organized basketball. He has so many physical attributes to disquise that he is actually a “project” caliber player.
I like the rebounding and free throw statistics at the half. Did I hear right? Barber with 0 assists so far? Gotta improve that.
OK… our numbers are small here on the BBall side of SFN…
But it ain’t our first rodeo….
It pretty obvious that either one of two things has happened….
Either we have been “channel-ing” the inner Coach Gott or Coach is reading our bball commentary about the half court offense.
And Tonight is the perfect night (against ND — playing a lot of zone ) to work out some of the kinks in our half court offense….
1. We outrebounding the Irish 23-13… cause our BIGS are moving and ready to shoot and rebound…
2. Tyler absolutely ran the better sets…
3. Perimeter shooting (ignoring the last shoot ) is opening up some…
4. Fast break baskets not going to get us the win tonight.
In the locker room at the half …
I’m sure one Coach said “Men… let’s just keep doing what we’re doing…. don’t look at the scoreboard.”
So let’s see what the second half brings…
Digger looking like he’s gonna go break some kneecaps after the game.
I dunno – Washington looked straight up there
Thank you Des
Hey, getting a charge call!
Wow great foot movement Barber … well done
Brey looks like the dying cop on sons of anarchy
Clean block
Way to follow up, JV!
Some damned fine basketball here. Of course, the lead getting big could be dangerous…
Big kudos to Vandy for following that play and getting the put back.
last three offensive possession…
1. on the set play — Mr. Cat makes one pass to the wing for a 18 foot leaner that hits the front of the rim.
2. Mr. Cat goes ONE ON FIVE and sneaks the layup home.
3. on the fast break…Mr. Cat goes ONE ON THREE to the basket…. hits the rim
and VANDWAGON gets the long rebound for the VANDERDUNK….
anybody else see a pattern here…
Is Vasturia a place that only a proctologist can find?
Too many jumpers from Warren
How do you lose track of that big lug?
Bad shots, 4-0 other team and momentum swinging … sigh
I didn’t realize a 9 point lead constituted a big lead and you could stop playing D.
Dang Cat….make better decisions
