Jeriki got his third with 7:06 left…
Why we didn’t go straight at him then and let him stay in the game…
somebody smarter than me will have to explain…He’s the glue on D and the screener on offense that lets those guys shoot and drive….
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/01/2014 at 2:05 PM #43593packer74ParticipantThumped at home by the hapless U. Blitzed over the last 4 minutes.
03/01/2014 at 2:05 PM #43594BJD95KeymasterPerhaps NIT Stan can moonlight for the CBI this year?
03/01/2014 at 2:06 PM #43595WulfpackParticipantWe fought very hard, which is hard to do after these agonizing losses. That is a great sign.
The bad news is we play sloppy stupid basketball.
03/01/2014 at 2:06 PM #43596Avid109ParticipantIt’s the black uniforms.
03/01/2014 at 2:07 PM #43597BJD95KeymasterI do like what I see from MG and Buckets there. Task is now to win out, get to .500 and the 7 seed, win Thursday and lock up NIT bid. Sad, but true.
03/01/2014 at 2:07 PM #43598vtpackfanParticipantGive it to them- they are predictable after these heartbreaking loses in coming out soft and shell shocked.
Gott probably wants the offseason more than anyone else at this point. He has actually GOTT to do some offseason work if he wants to remain a basketball coach.
03/01/2014 at 2:07 PM #43599WufpackerParticipantQuick turnaround for Pitt on the road. That’s gonna be ugly. Not that it matters at this point.
03/01/2014 at 2:07 PM #43600bill.onthebeachParticipantWell….
I really thought we would do better than this today.
Oh well…Suns out… spring is almost here.
Didn’t need the blood pressure pill after all…
Smoke if you GOTT ’em.
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/01/2014 at 2:07 PM #43601easParticipant15pt loss at home to a weak (but well coached) Miami team. So sad…
03/01/2014 at 2:07 PM #43602WulfpackParticipantWe gave up 85 at home to Miami, and are now in 10th place and may not make the NIT. That’s where we are, folks.
03/01/2014 at 2:08 PM #43603wufpup76KeymasterBiggest play – down 1, Washington gets free for a dunk but misses. Warren gets the rebound but offensive foul.
13-0 run Miami. No excuse, but we looked completely out of gas during that stretch. I think a Wed night hangover from the emotional letdown may have played a part.
03/01/2014 at 2:08 PM #43604Alpha WolfKeymasterI guess it’s time to go and pretend I don’t give a damn.
03/01/2014 at 2:08 PM #43605BJD95Keymaster2014-15 really is a “must dance” year for MG and the program. 100% agreed.
03/01/2014 at 2:09 PM #43606WufpackerParticipantPerhaps NIT Stan can moonlight for the CBI this year?
LOL, now THAT’S gallows humor at it’s finest. Nice.
03/01/2014 at 2:09 PM #43607SaccoVParticipantGott literally has one true basketball player and 11 half players on his team. I’m not sure anyone would do much better than .500 with this bunch.
03/01/2014 at 2:09 PM #43608TheAliasTrollParticipantdon’t go chasing waterfalls please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you’re used to
03/01/2014 at 2:10 PM #43609WulfpackParticipantWarren is NBA bound, so my hopes for next year aren’t high. Louisville joins as well. It’s only getting harder. Gott is very close to being a gonner, I am sure of it. Do or die next year.

Perhaps. But he’s also the GM.
03/01/2014 at 2:12 PM #43611BJD95KeymasterHarder schedule means more opportunities. At least lately, we tend to play up (or down) to the level of competition anyway. Bring it on.
03/01/2014 at 2:12 PM #43612WulfpackParticipantHe has now shopped for all the groceries. Coaching staff as well. He stinks as a defensive coach. If that does not improve we may see him back on the tube before long.
03/01/2014 at 2:13 PM #43613redcanineParticipantwe don’t want no scrubs.
03/01/2014 at 2:13 PM #43614pakfanistanParticipantWarren is NBA bound, so my hopes for next year aren’t high. Louisville joins as well. It’s only getting harder. Gott is very close to being a gonner, I am sure of it. Do or die next year.
Despite our struggles, I can’t help but think Gott has shown that a coach can come in and have immediate success at State.
That has got to be a net positive over our last two coaching changes.
03/01/2014 at 2:17 PM #43615packer74ParticipantJust so tired of being mediocre or less. Get some real players, a game time coach, stress fundamentals and play some damn Defense.
03/01/2014 at 2:17 PM #43616TheAliasTrollParticipantso I creep yeah just keep it on the down low
