Nice work here for some updates on former Wolfpackers in the NFL:
Jerricho Cotchery
Former NC State wide receiver Jerricho Cothcery will not play in the Panthers matchup against the Saints tomorrow. Cotchery suffered a high ankle sprain in last weeks game against the Texans. Even though high ankle sprains can normally mean missing significant time, the fact that Cotchery was actually able to return to the game last week is encouraging. We will have to wait and see if he will be able to play in Week 4.Nate Irving
Former NC State Linebacker Nate Irving was recovering from a torn ACL all offseason, and was only able to play in the final game of the preseason. He was able to play in Week 1, but was on the inactive list in Week 2. Irving isn’t on the injury report heading into tomorrow’s game against the Titans, and is listed as Jerrell Freeman’s backup at Inside Linebacker.Markus Kuhn
Former NC State Defensive Tackle Markus Kuhn sprained his knee in week 1 against the Cowboys. He left the game, but was actually able to return. With that being said, he has been held out of the past two games, and his status for Week 4 is unknown at this point. This is a really tough blow for Kuhn, after earning the starting job at Defensive Tackle in Week 1.
