you know roy will light into them at half and they come out on fire. i’m guessing with some favorable officiating as well.
They played good D and blew up our play. The key is we did NOT turn it over and give them a turnover and momentum shifting late layup. 29-18 will do. The Lacey 3 is still a nice dagger.

Well, if they’re not gonna draw foul calls on drives we’re gonna need some semblance of a pick-and-roll game to loosen up that D.

Not a bad first half. Loving anya and cat is playing good all around game. We have to be ready to make adjustments which gott has trouble with some time. Hopefully he will.lizten to bobby lutz and be prepared for a different unc team in the second half.

Did Roy call any time outs that 1st half? Not even the one that doesn’t carry over? lol that’d piss me off so much if I was a cheater fan.
Here is my reason for optimism.
The Holes didn’t wait until halftime. They already adjusted. And we PROMPTLY (hooray) countered, and re-extended the lead, starting with the BSW 3. I don’t know that they have a MAJOR run/adjustment in them. They will have to chip away and/or hope that the Cabal really is placing a series of angry calls.
Because we really are JUST THE BETTER TEAM ON THE FLOOR TONIGHT. BY A SUBSTANTIAL MARGIN.

Haha we could’ve actually used our NBA offense pick-and-roll coach Sidney Lowe on that one … Lacey put Anya in a bad position there.
Anya had a tremendous first half – rebounding, defense, and perhaps most importantly no fouls – at all.
Roy not using a timeout makes me wonder if he’s decided to make tonight a “maybe you’re not as good as your press clippings” lesson. But I know he hates us too much for that. Maybe he’s just drunk or something.
Uncle Roy did not have a “legitimate” reason to call a TO…
We are just ‘easing’ ahead…
No big moves…Our HEADS are in this game…
We will withstand the first four minutes…
That said… getting the first basket of the half would be perfect…Where we better be careful is in the second and third four minute segments…

As long as they don’t fall into the same halftime trap they had against Notre Dame and Miami. You’d think they’ve learned that much by now. I want to see the same first-half intensity coming out of the locker room.
