This is the kind of screwjob that torpedoes a season, too. Remember after the MD Clougherty travesty (that earned him a promotion in Swoffy’s regime) in the HWSNBN era.
Once again the acc hurts the entire league to benefit the chosen few. Syracuse is guaranteed a #1 seed. We needed that in a big way to get on the right side of the bubble and more teams in the NCAAT means more $$$ for the acc as a whole.

Jobbed. ‘Cuse elevated to Blew status in first year. Warren won the game with breakaway and one that was taken away. Inexcusable. Still should have won, but as usual we threw the damn game away in the closing seconds. Signature win given away.
If this identical game was played in Raleigh… I believe we would have have GOTTen the call on the breakaway and the WIN.

Sucks to lose though as we really need a signature win on the resumes. Comes down to Pitt and UNC, though Pitt will likely now be unranked with the loss to UNC today. We showed we can play with the big boys. The problem though as we know as the big slip up. As in upcoming games at Clemson and Va Tech. It can’t happen. Clemson is no joke. They played UVA very tough today. If we don’t bring it we will be in trouble. Tough to get over this one, no doubt. But back to business. Can’t let this one ruin the entire season.
