One thing that frustrates me about DD is his choice to be aggressive only SOME of the time. If you go for it on 4th down in kicking range, then you do it the whole game. The logic is grounded in statistics.

Think of it this way, you have dealer odds of 51% in blackjack. He knows he may lose a few hands by chance early but over time he’ll win. Going for touchdowns is worth it over time. If you go for it and miss, then you have even more reason to go for it all game to make up for it.
