Glad to see that the rules have not changed (err, enforced) for Duke while they have for everyone else.
Won’t say I told you so, but I did.
We have to start recruiting guys who can shoot threes. We are at an incredible disadvantage every night because we can’t shoot threes.
Pretty sure the reason they’re losing has more to do with playing 1 on 5 ball with 0 passing against a team that knows you are going to do that than lack of foul calls on Duke. State was in the bonus with 9 to play…
Another 30 + point beat down. We can not compete with no shooters, massive turnovers and weak defense.
Currently regretting my lack of blood alcohol content.

Cat’s development is very discouraging. Same can be said for Lewis but coach gave up on him.
K’s paradigm works like a charm against 95% of other teams.
1) Get smart kids who can learn and develop in your system. Allows synergy.
2) Get laterally quick players (usually) who can be taught to move their feet and play great defense.
3) Get shooters.Secondary attributes:

5) Get length. (Roy, Gott and Calipari weight 4 and 5 much higher than 1-3)Five conference games. Four losses. Two losses by 30+ points.

You know, I still like this team – a lot. I think they’re likable kids and have played hard all season.
There’s just been minimal development to this point in the season. Very discouraging indeed.

Unfortunately…. “they” just ain’t making enough “smart kids” who have the physical skills necessary to go around anymore…

The bigs have developed quite a bit. Barber is just awful. Terrible ball handler, terrible shooter, poor passer. Not sure why we signed him at this point.
The Zeb’s have been told to “balance” Their respective Home Court Margin is around 3 or so….at one time it was US 18 and Them 8. Still a bit lopsided.
From my TV vantage point, I looks like the Ref’s tweet and then, PAUSE, to see if Mikey is going to object….if he does not, they call it like they see it. If he starts to yell, it is automatically on US.Ref’s actually WAY below their average….quick look for the crew is around 39- 40. Gametracker shows 30.
