How about those apples!? A commanding win in BOTH Chestnut Hill AND Winston-Salem this season! State showed real progress on Saturday and delivered so

If the Pack can stay in the game into the second half next weekend, I’d be more inclined to say that this is significant progress. It’s looking more and more like an 8-win season would be the mark of improvement this season.
11/08/2015 at 5:41 PM #91815blpackParticipantIt is a small step to win at BC, but a step just the same. Nice that they didn’t have a chance in the 4th quarter. We’ll see how deflated FSU is next weekend and now that State is bowl eligible we can go down there and play loose. Let’s see what happens.
11/08/2015 at 6:21 PM #91816TexpackParticipantWe lost to those same Sun Belt teams with NFL QBs starting for us in the past. The ability to take care of bidniss in these locations means that breakthrough wins may not be so easy to cancel out going forward.
Like I said in the Matt Dayes thread, this is the best 3rd/4th string running game we’ve had in many moons. It’s a sign that DD is starting to stock the shelves with the kind of players and depth it will take to be competing for ACC titles in the next few years.
11/08/2015 at 6:58 PM #91818mak4dpakParticipantThis team gave Clemson/FSU a good defensive game, and shut down their offense, yet we scored 21, with 3 sure catches dropped for potential TDs, so if our defense shows up, and the offense plays loose, without going into conservative, if they build a lead, we may end up finishing 2nd in the division. If FSU has no ground game, I think we got this one. Go Pack!
11/08/2015 at 7:42 PM #91821redisgoodParticipantDalvin Cook is the type of runner who has gone wild on us the past few years. How he is handled will be the key to us having any kind of shot or getting completely blown out.
11/08/2015 at 8:42 PM #91824WulfpackParticipantGame time vs. the Noles is 12:30.
11/09/2015 at 2:38 PM #91839ryebreadParticipantGood win in what was a must win game. Progress is clearly being made.
Who knows what happens against FSU? We could win, or we could lose too. If I were a betting man, I’d go with a loss.
Syracuse is a must win though. We can’t afford a let down in between two huge games.

The Syracuse game as well. Sure would appreciate a few more 3:30 or evening games.
11/09/2015 at 5:10 PM #91845Heelh8rParticipantClearly, the TV experts are projecting us to lose Saturday; hence our game with Syracuse will be a game of also rans at 12:30. We still have a chance to finish 2nd or at least 3rd in our division but we’ve got to beat FSU to do it. More motivation. Win these two, and I bet the Cheaters game will be a later start.
11/09/2015 at 5:34 PM #91846pakfanistanParticipantClemson / FSU was a 12:30 game also. #GoACC.

Sun Belt level team #1 ranked defense in the nation? Wow.

Agreed Grey. BC has a good defense. No one has blown them out despite having a punchless offense. That’s kind of hard to do.
BC looked really good to me early. They looked like dark horse for #2 or #3 in the Atlantic. Then FSU broke their first string QB and they’ve not been the same since.
