N.C. State Wolfpack (13-7, 4-3) vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (18-2, 6-1) – 6:30pm @ PNC Arena | Tv: EspnU GoPack game snippet | Notre Dame team page
[See the full post at: N.C. State vs, Notre Dame – 6:30pm]01/25/2015 at 4:03 PM #7111513OTParticipantWin tonight and the Pack should be IN. Lose and it’s back to the bubble. It’s time to get away from this bubble crap and turn this season in the right direction.
I’ll be there, rooting for the Pack!
01/25/2015 at 4:17 PM #71118WulfpackParticipantIt’s one we have to have if we want to compete in the upper third of the league. A loss keeps us squarely in the middle in the 8 spot. That’s ok if we are happy with Bubble-land. But to move forward, we really need it.
01/25/2015 at 4:39 PM #71122PapaJohnParticipantNeed a win this week. Blew Miami, so gots to be this one.
01/25/2015 at 5:10 PM #71124Wolfpackjack76ParticipantI don’t get espnu. Anybody know of a stream?
01/25/2015 at 5:12 PM #71125TexpackParticipantAnother in a long series of games where there isn’t much daylight between the two teams. This team has a lot of grit and has been able to stay in games and give itself a chance almost every time out. It will interesting to see who wins big man roulette and gets the minutes tonight. I’d love to see another solid offensive effort from Abu, but I won’t hold my breath. This season still has a very broad range of potential outcomes.
01/25/2015 at 5:15 PM #71126BJD95KeymasterI like this matchup. Their best scorer is a non-Paige guard (meet Cat Barber, who will your BFF for 40 minutes), and their forwards are undersized.
That’s the kind of team we should beat 9 times out of 10 on our home floor, even if they are really good.
01/25/2015 at 5:17 PM #71127BJD95KeymasterIn other words, if you are gambling inclined, I have a STRONG Pack hunch.
01/25/2015 at 5:31 PM #71128WolfanaticParticipantSpeaking of gambling, Vegas consensus has the Irish as a 1.5 favorite. State is 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games, and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up loss. State has not won back to back games SU since beating Wake on 12-6 and Charleston Southern on 12-12. Since that victory over the Buccaneers, State has alternated wins and losses, and if these trends continue, State should get the W tonight both SU and ATS.
01/25/2015 at 5:38 PM #71129Heelh8rParticipantI just found statefansnation a couple of weeks ago and have just registered so I can actually start posting. I have my laptop on my lap, and am well into my pregame routine, which today is watching the Humana until the 6:30 tip. Can you feel my excitement? Just so you know my bonafides, I was a 2nd string HS wishbone quarterback in the ’70’s, and kept stats for the basketball team. So you can see the level of expertise I bring to the table.
01/25/2015 at 5:46 PM #71130MrPlywoodParticipantDook and Hoos win (among others), so State’s RPI and SOS stay strong, which is good. But State also needs wins and this one would be a good one to have. Go get ’em boys!
01/25/2015 at 5:50 PM #71131PrimewolfParticipantWith this much optimism, keep your money in your wallet.
I would like to see Gott be successful. But,,, I don’t see him as a detailed guy.
Go pack!
01/25/2015 at 5:57 PM #71132ncsu1987ParticipantAgree with Beej…on paper, this is one we should win. Hoping the guys show up with A effort tonight. Even with favorable matchups, top ten teams require effort and focus.
01/25/2015 at 5:57 PM #71133wufpup76KeymasterI donβt get espnu. Anybody know of a stream?
Sorry, I don’t π

Welcome. Appreciate your resume, but you had us at “heelh8r”01/25/2015 at 6:15 PM #71137Heelh8rParticipantI have a buddy, a KY fan, who says Jeff Goodman listed us top 4 with KY, KS, and UConn as the top craziest fan bases. That is a nice compliment. At least I think it is. Excited to see tonight is a sell out.
01/25/2015 at 6:17 PM #71138Heelh8rParticipantThanks PapaJohn. Put a lot of thought into that.
01/25/2015 at 6:19 PM #71139wufpup76Keymaster^I’d be surprised if Goodman didn’t mean that in an insulting way – at least towards the Pack fanbase. Guy loves trolling State fans.
Hope we can give ol’ Brad a better game to call tonight than the last time he was in the building. He was the color for the Cincy debacle.
01/25/2015 at 6:33 PM #71140TexpackParticipantI was at the ’83 game. Tripuka and Woolridge.
01/25/2015 at 6:33 PM #71141TexpackParticipantCat not starting
01/25/2015 at 6:34 PM #71142wufpup76KeymasterJust in case anyone missed it – Cody M. gets the start. Cat will come off the bench
01/25/2015 at 6:37 PM #71143BJD95KeymasterI think we may run these guys out of the gym.
Fucking Tripucka. I had a migraine, I remember watching that game (maybe the away one) on TV. NBC, I think.
01/25/2015 at 6:38 PM #71144wufpup76KeymasterCody bothering them on the perimeter. Match-ups going our way so far.
01/25/2015 at 6:38 PM #71145bill.onthebeachParticipantPack comes out ready to play tonight…
We win the first four min segment..Anybody else catch Lacey on the pregame talking about ABU ??
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!01/25/2015 at 6:39 PM #71146BJD95KeymasterComing out “big” kinda freaked them out. MG playing some chess tonight.
