Good overall half, nice intensity by our bigs.
I think this half shows us that we don’t have to have Cat in the game running the offense. So, let’s show him how he can fit into it and actually become another offensive weapon for us. Both Dez Lee and Lacey drove the lane and created something wonderful for our bigs in doing so.
What a joy it was to watch Washington that half … his early ball movement really helped get us going, bonus that he hit shots later 🙂 . Very active on D as well.
Great half overall, just hope we don’t have to hit free throws in order to win. Clearly, we can’t.
If not for missed free throws and early turnovers, State was the better team for most of the half.
Here’s the first thing that jumps out of the boxscore…
Pack had 10 Assists and 15 baskets in the first half.. 67%!!!!
Anthony and Lacey had ONE between them…

I absolutely LOVE how KW plays with such a chip on his shoulder. Dunno what the source of it is, but grateful for the end result.
Solid 1st half. Turnovers early but none late. Great rebounding, especially positioning, and Gott’s got his five for the second half, rotating Anya and Abu in to spell Washington.
