If State has to rely on this tiebreaker win, then we didn’t make it into the top five seeds. It’s great that UVA, Louisville and Syracuse all go through a tough strectch of games right before they play State.
BJD, what’s your opinion of Cage the Elephant. If you tell me it’s bubblegum rock, then I will have to jump off a bridge. Spiderhead is the only song title I can remember. The next 3 on the CD were decent.

Tier 1 (top 5) seems to be mostly over our heads, so we have to win as many of the rest as we can.Not sure how it might play into the RIP algorithm stew, but it seems to me that we would really benefit from Duke winning at Lo’ville today (and, actually, thereafter) thus returning our win against them to it’s original lofty (RPI boosting) status. Of course we can only control what we can control (at least in theory)…GO PACK!
By the way, this game, the Del Boca Vista Phase III Basketball Invitational is on WMYTHD Channel 12 TWX Charlotte.
The timing of this one worries me, especially on the road.
Up until the last few games, we haven’t always appeared to be the most mentally tough with regard to consistency of effort from game to game. I fear there is an egg to be laid.

I never like to call a particular game a must game but this one is about as close as it gets. To be tier 1 you must beat the teams that you are supposed to be better than.
