ParticipantRhetoric question for O Wise Ones…
When the heavy underdog wins on a shot at the buzzer that’s an ‘upset’…
But IF you, beat them in every column on the box score, totally destroy a team’s will to win and win going away by 20….How is that legitimately called an ‘upset’ ?
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/17/2018 at 12:15 PM #133139Wulfpack
ParticipantACC might get one in San Antone.

ParticipantTony did handle the loss with class, and I’d expect nothing less from him. He is a very principled man. The better team won, last night.

ParticipantIf the better team won what does that say about the glorified #1 in the tourney.
03/17/2018 at 1:34 PM #133144Wulfpack
ParticipantThere is absolutely no denying that UVa was the best team in college basketball this season. So what it says, literally, is that anybody can beat anybody on a given night. Nobody disputes UVa wasn’t the overall number 1. What they did was incredible.

ParticipantI’ve seen a zillion folks pick Michigan State to win it all. They looked terrible against Bucknell.
KU struggled with Penn for a while. Gonzaga struggles with UNCG. Texas Tech struggles with SFA. Auburn struggled with Charleston. Arizona loses. Miami loses. Wichita loses.
Point being – if you don’t bring it, you are going home. And you might even go home if you do. So much parity right now in college basketball.

ParticipantIf I could re-pick, seeing what we’ve seen so far, I’d go all in on Nova. Easy road to the Final Four.
03/17/2018 at 2:55 PM #133147TheAliasTroll
ParticipantYeah Nova looks like your best bet.. Cheats are up there too, I really believe they have a pretty easy path.
03/17/2018 at 3:40 PM #133148TheCOWDOG
ModeratorI ran Nova all the way out to win.
Gave UVa two wins.…But put State in the Elite 8.

ParticipantRick Barnes looked like a deer in headlights. Loyola head fakes made the vol defenders look like beagles chasing a rabbit.

Participant^Yep…
Cougars spent too much time talking to each other and the refs in the second half…
A bit un-rattling…Still a great game…
