H/T to CFT here.
With a move to a new, hopefully more stable and profitable conference for the Louisville program comes a chance to set the tone for a new era for the entire university. What better way to do that than by getting one of Louisville’s biggest stars today, Jennifer Lawrence, to help spread the word and introduce Louisville to its new conference partners and foes in the ACC?
An intro video to a website set up by Louisville specifically for the introduction to the ACC, MeetTheCards.com, features Lawrence narrating a video about Louisville’s passion for athletics. As far as star power to help hype the move to a new conference goes, Louisville’s could be pretty tough to top given Lawrence’s profile these days.

As an athletics program, Louisville looks to be in pretty good shape as it moves from the American Athletic Conference into the ACC. The football program will be placed in a division headlined by defending BCS champion Florida State as well as Clemson, fresh off an Orange Bowl victory, so Louisville will get an idea of just where it stands in the ACC this fall. Having Teddy Bridgewater back this year would have been nice to see but the Cardinals have made some improvements as a football program since Charlie Strong took over, preparing the program for this sort of realignment change. Having a coach in Bobby Petrino, who had some success at Arkansas in the SEC, could end up being beneficial as well . The basketball program should slide right into contending status.
Maybe Rutgers has Jon Bon Jovi up their sleeve or Maryland has David Hasselhoff they can have make an appearance.
Can’t wait to see her in “X-Men: Days of our Past Life’s Future”.
