Did not like the play calls in the red zone. Why not just run it down their throat?
Nervous time
Shouldn’t be difficult to find short range accuracy. It’s not a rare ability.
New kicker at next try, If there is one.
Need D to pick us up.
Ply,
The plays were there for easy scores. JB missed. Ugh.
We might win. But unless we tack on one, maybe two nice scoring drives, it’s not going to feel very good, IMHO.
JB needs another realigmnent, then we good again.
What that means, I don’t know.
New kicker at next try, If there is one.
Is Tanner McCarthy (FR from Wilson) redshirted?
If not, give Jackson Maples a shot.
….maybe a rotation and balance too.
Good job D.
Ok JB. Long 5+ min drive. Slow and steady. End this right.
Please?
I guess my expectations got too high in the 1st qtr; the last 3 have been very hard to watch. I cannot relax yet. Too much typical State play.
Bring Jekyll back. Hyde stinkin’ up the place.
That was unimpressive.
Regardless of ending, lots of work to do this week given a game that started 28-0. Looking like a microcosm of the season.
How many times must a lesson be learned? Youth, whadda gonna do?
Not a long time consuming drive, but I’ll take it.
THANK YOU CHERRY…
That helps.
I can fully unclench. Well not fully. Fair food.
…and a CHERRY on top!
The long Wolfpack nightmare is over!
That’s better.
The player id is happy, but the coaching ego is not.
What, a deep fried fur ball got ya fluid?
Not fully fluid, but close enough to require vigilance.
😀
I stand corrected on the kicker thing. No bench?
Alpha Wolf said “It’s been quite a while since State’s had a place-kicker this bad. 3-8 this year with his long being 36 yards.”
Until this year, I do not recall when we did not have a good/great kicker since my freshman year, 1965.
A win is a win is a win, especially in Winston.
But Freud says there’s still much work to be done.
Much. Work.
This team’s limit seems to be set by its collective noggin.
close enough to require vigilance
What an elegant way to state your issue.
