A few house cleaning items as we head to Louisville this weekend where Dave Doeren and NC State’s eleven game conference losing streak is starting to

It’s a shame to have expanded the conference by including a school with standards this low. It wasn’t just an affair at Pig U. Bobby Boy HIRED HIS GIRLFRIEND OVER MUCH MORE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES and put the university at risk in doing so. That, in combination with his long history of **ckish behavior should make him off limits to any school that has a conscience at all.
For me, this game will take on the same intense desire I always had for us to humiliate Danny Ford. It’s not possible for us to win by enough on Saturday.
10/16/2014 at 1:58 PM #59033JohnGalt78ParticipantI’m afraid we’re looking at another Clemson-like shut-out/blow-out combo on Saturday.
10/16/2014 at 2:01 PM #59035BJD95KeymasterBobby Petrino may be a shit (most successful coaches are shits, we just don’t see most of the shit aired in public), but he’s a damned fine coach. I’d have no problem with my school hiring him.
10/16/2014 at 2:12 PM #59037WulfpackParticipantI believe Lville is first in total defense. They are good. Fast and athletic. Strong recruited well there and the results showed.
Petrino is a very good coach. He will win there. I suppose that is all that matters.
10/16/2014 at 4:08 PM #59041ryebreadParticipantPetrino will have Louisville challenging FSU and Clemson for ACC superiority as long as he’s there. Clemson and FSU are going to probably recruit better, but Petrino will coach them better.

10/16/2014 at 9:07 PM #59044coyotejoeParticipantAt Louisville? That train horn will be ringing “12 in a row”…sigh…
10/16/2014 at 10:07 PM #59045choppack1ParticipantThe good news is that the ‘ville’s offense hasnt been great. Then again, they haven’t faced our defense.
10/16/2014 at 11:16 PM #59046PackFamilyParticipantI’ll be there cheering on the Pack… hoping for a win; expecting a beatdown. I don’t believe we match up well against the Cards. We may bounce back as some teams do when there is no where to go but up (see UNC v ND)… but i don’t think it will be enough.
10/17/2014 at 9:35 AM #59055BJD95KeymasterLouisville is a pretty cool place to watch a game. I like the town, and their fans were very hospitable.
I went in either 94 or 95, so maybe the hospitality had something to do with how soundly they were kicking our asses. But at least I could buy beer in the stadium. And I did.

I’m just hoping it’s possible for us to win, period.
The “battle for the bottom” with Wake will be quite a doozy in a few weeks.
10/17/2014 at 2:19 PM #59073redisgoodParticipantJulius writes an open letter to Dave Doeren. I’m not sure exactly why I don’t like it, but I don’t. Do not see the purpose other than to call attention to himself.

10/17/2014 at 9:27 PM #59085choppack1ParticipantI don’t have a problem with it at all.
