He has started nine of 11 games since joining the Raiders, and even in limited appearances, his 21 pass breakups (20 of which he has accumulated since leaving Washington) rank third in the NFL. He also has two interceptions and a forced fumble .
Washington where careers go to die. It seems the Raiders is a better place for Amerson.
Glad to see this. Always like Amerson, despite his disappointing senior season.

Amerson with a pick six this weekend. Maybe he has turned it around. Having Woodson mentoring him even for part of a season can have significant impact. Lets hope he continues to put the work in.
Yep.
Amerson’s biggest problems have always been with his head.
Very happy for the dude, and that he gets to be part of what looks to be a pretty special young group coming together out west.
Not that it makes a Denver fan happy for the Raiders to be promising, but a little starch back in the rivalry would be good for all involved.

I haven’t watched him with the Raiders enough to know that he has gone back to the drawingboard, and learned coverage.
…Sounds like it, though.
