A good slate of college football should help forget all of the off the field suck the sports world had to offer this past week. Unfortunately, aside from the Dawgs invading Columbia, this week’s CFB slate reeks pretty badly. And of course that one is up against the Pack’s game at South Florida at 3:30pm.
Maybe Chris Davis can spare a capsule so I don’t fall into a coma.

While not big ‘name’ games, State has participated in 2 really good football games — if you don’t care who wins. I think, gotta feeling, whatever, the Bulls/Wolfpack game is going to be a good football game. I hope I’m wrong. I hope this is going to be a one-sided, blow-out with the Wolfpack winning going away.

Agreed. Would love to see the Pack win a laugher, but not expecting it.
I am just hoping to make it through the weekend without another high-profile incident that makes me have even less faith in humanity than I already have.
In other words…maybe less than a year after you have a child DIE as the result of another’s abuse, you don’t beat a 4-year old (over a trivial bit of misbehavior, age taken into account) so badly that you get indicted and arrested in fucking TEXAS. in a part of Texas that’s conservative even by Texas standards.
In spite of who we play this week, Jigsy’s preview from earlier in the week (and especially his header photo) reminded me that I love me a good matador goring. Hopefully this won’t happen to us today tho.

Let the lesson of last weekend be this – THE Ohio State University is a pile of warmed-over garbage. VPI is not “back.”
I repeat my assertion that Bobby Petrino is a Top 5 coach. 4th and inches at the UVA 10, not only does he (rightly) go for it, but also throws the ball to the end zone.

GSU has most of the fans in the stadium (warning sign for PJ), and is playing the exact opposite (first half vs. second half) of their game with us.
VPI is awful. Vanderbilt may be the worst team in the power conferences. Either them or Purdue.
